Totally agreed. Very hypocritical country. Not to mention their government is insanely corrupt to the point of no return.

 

Interesting article in today's Tribune about the high school incident. I do love this quote:

Sports, especially those involving youths, are supposed to provide a haven from the issues that divide us, not a platform.

Wow I don't get why them taking a stance is such a big deal. They're kids standing up for what they believe in.

 

What I've noticed is the people who are against the law are people who have good relationships with hispanics and don't have to deal with the bs. Of course we african americans are the ones who have to directly deal with hispanic violence or racism. I get where they're coming from I just wish they could see our point of view.

And I am not a fan at all of ANY of the shock jock pundits either. I was mainly focusing on the stupid woman that called in. If you would of listened to what she had to say, you'd be baffled as well.

He's not merely a shock jock, he's a political pundit. He's considered a real voice amongst republicans.

 

People should be supporting this. Look the Federal law is much more harash on illegal immigration than Arizona. Mexico's laws are even more harash than our laws. The other thing is it would not be fair to give these people amnesty compared to all the people that do it legally. Some of you people don't care about fairness. You are rewarding people to do the wrong thing and punishing those who do the right thing.

 

AZ's governor supported everything about the illegals..then..all of a sudden..comes up with the craziest and divisive "solution".

It's no accident a sensible approach wasn't suggested.

I do, I just think we need to hold ourselves to a different standard. But yes, their laws suck. On pretty much everything, including immigration. Also, their cops suck, so I'm guessing enforcement is even worse than what you've laid out there, complete with beatings and worse.
