I have always felt that you don't need to call every day, and certainly not multiple times, unless you live together and one is expecting the other to be home at a certain time or something. I mean, what do they expect, that harassing her is the way to her heart?

I saw this movie and it was interesting. The whole point is that love comes in unexpected forms. I think with Jay Brooks, he main dated white women because of how he is as a person - comic book artist, quirky, etc. So, who can relate or is more likely to be open to that? Well, it's pretty obvious based on his relationships. Also, I don't think he was too conscious on the whole race thing. It just came natural.

to me this guy seems silly, like he was surprised a black woman could like the same things he did......at the end of the day it's about chemistry....i'm open to anyting.....

But did you find the WW Jay dumped to be the kind who was into comics and quirky artists? I didn't.

The one at the beginning of the movie? I can pretty much say she either tolerated it or enjoyed a bit of it, but don't have to look the part. You can't tell by appearance alone, dear. I mean, using your username as an example...I would assume you are a Japanophile or someone with an acute sense of yellow fever. But I can't assume that since you post here a lot and it shows you have a strong preference for people of the Afro persuasion.

With my ex and me, it came out naturally too. He has never dated a black woman because they simply aren't attracted to him (because of his interests, demeanor...he acts like a big old hipster rock-a-billy country boy). He was artistic, an oddball, and a loner, and so was I. We both liked scouting out thrift stores for vintage clothes and stuff, also going to art galleries, so that's how we met (first time at an art gallery, second time at a thrift store).

I wasn't even attracted to him at first, but now he's one of the sexiest men I've ever met - and that's after all kinds of arguments etc. We would go to flea markets, read fashion magazines together, home improvement stuff... he was my friend and I miss him. We were the perfect oddball couple.
