My heart goes out to the families of their loved ones who lost their lives to tornadoes earlier this week. Tornadoes come and taking so many lives that it has claimed already.

Yet, their houses got destroyed easily like toys. Truly, it does looks like we just came out of war!

But what I don't understand why people continues to re-built their homes knowing that tornadoes will just come back to taking everything all over again and again and again!?!?!

    It's pointless, really.

I just feel like it's time to declare the war against the tornadoes, sometimes we cannot win against mother nature....

That's why I decided to grabbed my shovel to dig to find more information about combating the battle against this kind of weather. I remember one school area were built underground in the state that I cannot remember. I think it was Minnesota, I'm not sure.

The students felt very, very safe when they went to school underground, believe it or not!

Answer me this question: Why can't we just built something strong? Something that Tornado won't be able to destroy the homes like toys ever again?

I heard that Dome houses is weather-proof. It said that Dome houses is your best friend! It helps protecting against tornadoes, but the windows will be destroyed, anyway.

Also..houses being built underground is very good idea! I found plenty! So..what do you think, guys?

    And this as well

I know you guys prefer good-old houses, but I just think that this is the future. You have the rights to disagree with me.

I'm planning on to building Dome and underground homes in the future. So, that way, tornado can't take everything what I hold so dear in my heart. That's my opinion.

Not just Tornadoes! Hurricanes as well.

Yes, but I know "conversations between white women and black men belongs to 'Love'", but this is family-related thread. It's about me wanting to protecting my family and my memories that I will want to cherish within my heart.

If I do see what tornado did this to my house, my knees would be weak and drop my knees and then face down on the ground crying like baby. I just couldn't bear to start all over again with new memories and all.

That's why I decided that it's time for me to build underground home that will lasts decades, if not centuries to comes!

I've looked up and find it very interesting! hmm....

It said that it's apocalypse-proof underground home. I'm thinking about bringing my family to live down under there.

You dig that deep where I live & you'll end up in an old coal mine.

Get a hold of yourself! Aren't you a hurricane state? We go through this often. You survive and rebuild. We went through andrew and katrina and we are still here!

Personally, I would much rather go thru the hurricane season than tornadoes, at least with them you have warnings...I'm not sure that there is anything that will withstand a tornado's wrath, besides building underground....not sure I would want to live underground and archangel is exactly right, we would be in a pool, however, there is a fairly new material out there now that will withstand most hurricane strength winds....SIP, structurally insulated panels. We design buildings for this, if everyone would see the advantages of this product, it would be everywhere! It's heat and cold weather advantageous, cuts down on your heating and electrical bill by about two thirds....and who wouldn't want that? It's basically going green at about the same cost as brick or wood frame. A lot of the new structures in Haiti are going with this product, or will be when the money gets allocated....what a sad situation there...yet another reason why we all need to count our blessings...
