Im starting to think that actually female stars doing BM in movies is a bad thing offscreen, I don't think we should or anybody in hollywood should push this anymore. Just make one and be done. I say this because I have the feeling that it is nothin but USERY! Eva Mendes is now the latest to join others such as julia stiles, halle berry, jennifer lopez, Ellen Barkin, Selma Hayek, Famke Jannsen, Sanna Lathan, Zoe Saldana, Bijou Phillips, Rosario Dawson, Emmanuelle Chrique, Christina Ricci, and Elizabeth Hurley.... Who was doing films with the bm as the romantic lead but once they got up in their career and hit mainstream it suddenly dissapeared. Just like all those others Eva mendes is now booked with nothing but all white romantic leads through 2009.....And other new participant is Bryce Dallas Howard who has two IR films out with bm this year ("Manderlay" and "As you like it") is also booked with white romantic leads through 2009. Im done with it If i see a movie with bm as the romantic lead and it is a good movie thats all Im giving it, Im not going to press about the actress doing films with brothas anymore now knowing we aint nothing but something to keep these bitches working until they get up in their career. So for now on Im all about the movie and the actresses character not her, unless I see one of them in real life with a brotha any actress that is doing an movie with a bm aint nothin but a user to me. Ya'll see that list of how many thats alot and it's not the complete list neither. So here it is how Im doing things now.......There are five IR flicks out this fall: "As you like it", "Haven", "Slow Burn", "Otherside of Simple", "The tournament of dreams".
Christina's up anc coming flick is IR with Samuel L. Jackson from there and til 2008 she is booked up with white leads And Liz did two way back when. Her first one was a british film(I'll give the name when I can spot it again.) and second one was that movie with ice cube and her in it when she was in the car making out with a drug addict.
From what I understand, Christina Ricci is not supposed to be romantically involved with SLJ. You also need to remember that there are not an awful lot of A-list black actors to do IR with. Eva Mendes can only play Denzel's wife or girlfriend so many times. And she has been with Will Smith as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Angelina Jolie did one if it were the right role

Since there are more WM than BM these actresses want to cover all their bases. When they appear with BM it doesn't mean they have to be exclusive.
Just that. He's complaining that these women get their careers off the ground and aren't doing IR with BM as they did earlier. I doubt if they feel it's necessary to do IR in each role.
No. He's ' complaining' that these women ONLY do IR, just for the sake of either launching their careers, or trying to maintain their 15 minutes. You're just getting what you want from it, as usual.
