Excuse me, isn't this a quote from one of your posts??? That she ONLY dates wm?? You didn't say anything about preference.

Many of the ww here have stated many times about bm posting threads about bw on this site. Even some of the guys have stated as much.

Why on earth would I want to come to a site with women who wants nothing to do with me??? If that's the case, we can both go hangout at the racist site site, they don't like us either but oh well.

Explain why you think this thread is ABOUT black women? Because a black woman is speaking? In the entire video that woman never once mentioned anything about bw.
If I posted a video where an black man was talking about martial arts would the video be about bm? Come on don't be silly fam.

Btw I should have corrected my statement about her only dating wm earlier because she saw this post and reminded she has dated bm as recently as of two months ago so she does date bm its just really rare like 1 in a 100

    You are a thick one.

This is a wwbm site. There are ww out there who have the same story with the same attitude. On a site like this, you want to promote positive things coming from each other, this is why this site was created.

I can guarantee you on racist site, no matter how positive the message is, they won't have a black person stating anything. Many people like to hang with people like them. It doesn't mean they hate others, they just like being with people who uplifts them.

You are the man, most women will follow your lead if you are someone they can respect and they believe in you. When you make a commitment to something, stand by it, no matter what.

Don't advertise how fantastic a Ford car is then drive around in a Buick. Your words loose their credibility.

You are the man, you lead, understand????

Well since you need to resort to insults I can tell no meaningful dialogue can be had here. So I'll tell you the same thing I say to everyone. If you don't like the thread stay the fuck out. Arguing childish sophmoric points isn't going to change anyone's mind so. So mosey along to the why I love ww thread and leave this one alone. Good day to you sir.

Everyone here has gotten "off topic" of the original thread "If You've Been Laid Off or Worried About It".

This young lady has put a positive spin on this and decided to go in business for herself and not have a pity party. From reading the post here I don't believe anyone here finished listening to her YOUTUBE video. Go on the YOUTUBE comment section and read the responses. It doesn't matter what her dating preferences are anyway. Mr. Fantastic, by calling your "friend" an oreo you just showed her and yourself a lot of disrespect.

Since everyone here has gone off topic I will add that one of the many reasons black men (and black women for that matter) who date outside their race is that they outgrown black women and want other options. This can be said the same for your friend. I live in Washington, DC and can relate to her. Most of the single black women here either, have children by some other man, are over weight, don't have money, are sleeping with multiple men, have STDs and/or don't have good education.

My avatar has nothing to do with what I stated, nor am I confused or a troll. Your petty shaming tactics do not work on me nor your ad hom attacks that have been deployed in this thread.

I stand on my square 110% it what I believe to be my truth based on my experiences with the sub cultures I have come in contact with, the so called conscious communities ( Nuwabians, Black Panthers, Nation Of Islam, Black Isrealites, Black Hebrews and Moors).

As a african american male of native american heritage I do not agree with the ideologies and the teachings that these groups profess.

If you choose to put on your cape and go save the black family/community then go right ahead, I will be standing happy on the side lines and watch you put in the work!

I can criss cross the United States and the internet and find that the above quote is right on point, those that are opting out of the exclusivity to dating primarily within their race are often chastised and shamed for doing so!

The fact that she's black or who she dates has NOTHING to do with the thread or the message being delivered. I find NOTHING offensive or disrespectful about the woman in the video being a black female. This is a positive thread IMO, & there is no reason to bring any negativity into it.

I think she is right. I was laid off for 3 months. I swamped the market with my resume and was able to relocate.....only fear I have about buying a house...so I may buy a home where I want to retire so I can write it off and keep renting...I is also a good ides to get up at your normal time and get dressed like you are going to work and then LEAVE the house and go to like the library to work on job hunting. It is way too easy to stay home and chill. I also took the free classes that the state offered and upgraded commuter skills etc.

As a white woman, I am not at all insulted that drae shared this postive message. I mean who cares who the messager is? And why would I as a white woman have a problem with a black woman at all?? In fact, none of my best female friends, expect one is white. They are Latina, Cape Verdian, and oh yeah black. Drae, was not showing anyone lack of respect.

Thank you. I owe you a rep too :)

It was, but I lived in western mass which was less expensive. I was also able to earn an additonal $180 a week before they deducted from my benefits. I was eligible to collect for 99 weeks and collected for. I didn't do any additional work, I could have tutored or taught summer school, but I wanted to focus on finding a new job, and it paid off :). Your friend will be fine with her attitude and drive.

I tried to rep, you my friend, but I have to spread it around first. ArmyRanger, or whatever his name is is trying to antagonize. Glad you are smart enough, not to rise to the bait.

I encourage it. We have to stay positive in the face of adversity its the only way to come out ahead.

Btw how long were you on unemployment before you found a job?

From June until August....I was unfairly let go from my job despite great evals because the school needed to get rid of one teacher in my department(budget). One guy had been there 20 years, and the incompetent teacher who got to stay was fucking the principal. So they gave me a glowing reference and did not dare contest my unemployment. Granted I moved 100 miles for a new job, but the school system is MUCH better with a professional administrator team, and I got a 13,000 raise. However, it is significantly more to live in the Boston area. My rent went form $700 a month to $1200. But there is more to do here and I am much happier. Overall, my lay off was truly a blessing in disguise.

Having lived in the Boston area for many years, $1200 is a steal. Six years ago I was paying nearly that much, plus ridiculously high utilities, and I was 8-10 miles outside the city.

There is a ton of fun to be had in Boston, and Providence is only an hour away, and at least used to have a really good blues scene. I agree, I wouldnt buy real estate there. It's way too expensive. When I moved from there to Colorado, my friends were in shock at the lower cost of housing here, which is by no means the lowest in the country, but is about half or less of Greater Boston.

I live about 16 miles from Dorcester/Mattapan. I do have pools and a fitness center on site, and 2 bedrooms. In western ma it was a basic 2 bedroom with no ammenities
