That would be great. New pope, same old shit. I went on a hunt for actual fairness and equality in the Christian faith as a whole and it is still, in 2013, lacking. Sad that people refuse to let go of belief patterns that have not worked in thousands of years just to sustain a small amount of temporal comfort. I did find this article and I thought she had some pretty good insight into how to actually fix the mess that is Christianity. "If Christians accepted the Bible as a product of its time there would be no more animosity and hate directed at the Church because of their controversial beliefs that contradict our progressive society." So at least I know not to hate the people for their narrow - minded and bigoted thinking. Rather, to hate their choice in reading material. What a relief. http://www.independent.co.uk/voices...-is-not-the-problem-the-bible-is-8487636.html
I've got tons of new stuff. But....nah.....mah efforts are elsewhere at the moment. Omg..I have this new red and white polka dot thing from Fredrick's. I lurves it. I might have posted it here actually come to think of it. Or maybe just @ Nicole. Can't remember.
Very good insight. I may have to reevaluate my attitude towards those who are part of the labels. I've long considered and took into account that the Bible should be considered nothing more but a work of fiction than a history book. Outdated material written from old to speak of moral lessons that doesn't apply in modern day society. We've evolved since then and our understandings of the world far surpasses any religious text as we grow more enlightened.
