exactly. I was in the military and their was a gentlemen named Otero and he was a huge guy. Well he was able to out-perform over 80% of the people in the unit. he was an ex boxer . he was able to do over 100 pushups in 2 min, over or close to 100 situps in 2 minutes and he was able to do 2 miles in about 13 to 14 minutes.

 

Because someone else, not me, introduced that into the discussion. Threads often don't stay exactly on point, I thought that was the whole point of a discussion? However, I haven't degraded anyone. I stated my personal opinion, and indicated if you are overweight and happy then more power to you, but if you aren't then I think you degrade yourself to stay in an unhappy state that is within your control to change. If you don't like to read other people's comments, put them on ignore. While I'm on the subject of shit that pisses me off, people who can't entertain opinions that are contrary to theirs without becoming offended, petty, childish and disrespectful are particularly annoying. It's the internet, this is an online forum open to anyone who wishes to participate, if someone doesn't have thick enough skin to deal with being disagreed with then perhaps they shouldn't participate.

i often appreciate your responses espy, but i must challenge you on this one. the point of the thread was not to discuss the larger woman's health in the world...

but since you desire to push your opinion, that's fine. i come to this thread to celebrate the larger woman... especially since they are hated on so much in society. but you are right, it is indeed the internet (not sure that makes any difference in general) so if people want to come in and spew venom they are able (not allowed, but simply able) to do so. not sure why a thick skin is necessary when the o.p. was asking others if they had experienced larger lovin. :-?
