Okay, you're probably right. There was a poll on here saying "What type of BM do you prefer?", and I think the majority of the responses were either "African American" or "Doesn't Matter".

Perhaps this question should be asked on a more broad scale, beyond the spectrum of this site.

I'll pitch in here. The boy toy I was seeing was a LS BM. The guy I am seeing now is not. I don't have a preference in skin tone, it's the whole package to me (no, not that kind of package - but now that you mention it... ;-) )

It depends on when and where. Jews & Italians definitely ran into their share of "sorry, not hiring today" based on appearance and ethnicity. I'll check out the book, but I've said that there's a big difference already.

FH, I have seen some. Maybe Mikey will look them up for us, he's good at that. Me, I spent four hours sitting in a straight backed chair today, and took 2 vicodin and 4 aleve when I got home. I'm not in the mood to delve into research. I surely have not seen WW making negative comments about BW in any large numbers, which was the claim I was countering. If you have seen a lot of us downing BW, please let me know where/when.

Anyone who can change their name to assimilate or can use hair gel to hide who they are doesn't really meet the same requirements but I hear you. I heard the Irish ran into the same problem but they could lose their accent over time. An Italian can be Greek or some other more favorable white person and many if not most Jews at least in the NY area do the same thing. When you're black there's nowhere to hide.

That lighweight shit they post is NOTHING compared to the things you read about BM on black sites like Blackvoices and Mediatakeout all the time.

    Now..

Go read what your beloved "sisters" say about you...:smt039

I'm always curious when someone from Australia seems to think that Black and White unrest is odd, considering the historical context of the Aboriginal people in Australia? At one point, there was an actual missions of genocide against Aboriginals, then the movement to "convert" them and the "Lost Generation". Certainly, all those issues created generations of White Australians who continued to foster a dislike of Aboriginal people. We can view videos mocking Aboriginal people today, much in the same way African Americans were/are mocked also. Even, today, the Aboriginals seem to be very disenfranchised from the community at large.

Here, in the states, a person of Chinese ancestry, even a recent immigrant, would be seen in a better light, in general, than an African American, btw. So, please help me to to understand the disconnect in understanding your feelings?

I have a feeling that you simply love white women out of hate for black women. Respond to this with childish remarks, it'll just mean it's true.

i was just responding to your post to pixie:

it's not a lie, it does happen, i've seen it, spoken about it in the past and have again spoken about it. i don't like bringing their names up in a conversation they are not in, and will not again, but needed to point it out to you that it does happen.

as for me reading what my 'beloved sisters' say about me, i'm not interested in it one little bit. this is why i don't visit sites that are not geared towards me; i.e. racist site, blackvoices or mediatakeout. their opinions make not one ripple in my sea of calm and i am well aware that those few that hate, do not speak for the rest who do not.

No is saying that there isn't bad or even worst shit posted on other sites about black men posted by black women but some dudes on here make out all bw to be evil self loathing demons who plot against any happiness a bm could possibly have. You'd swear none of us ever had/have a mother or sisters or cousins or aunts or grandmothers. Its really shameful. I could careless what they say or do, it makes me feel pity and compassion more so than the hateful shit I see on here. Truth be told bw haven't harder than any other group of women on earth. The physical mutilations and social mistreatment not to mention being rarely depicted as the object of desire unless they are "mixed" has to be crushing and very difficult to carry at times.
So while I get some of the frustration I don't get the out right anger sometimes. Not every black chick ain't a hood rat trying to keep you down or stand in the way of your happiness. We're all struggling to find that.
