    Well since I'm agnostic but border on being an atheist it looks like I will be going to hell and burn for eternity. I would rather just not have been born.

    As I said that's your choice. I can't imagine ever wishing that for myself under any circumstances, and I'm sorry you feel that way.

    I agree. I think God should be blamed for everything. Good and bad. When things are going well people always say "its because God has blessed you". When evil and negative things go wrong they blame the Devil. But God created the devil and if he is all knowing then he knew the Devil would turn on him and become evil. If God knew this would happen then why would he create Lucifer/Devil in the first place? God set him and people like me up to fail. I was doomed to fail from the start.

    Technically, Christians created the Devil. The original Testament had no Devil and no Hell. But if you look at the literature from a storyteller's perspective, adding a villain or adversary is a common literary device, which in turn creates a sense of vigilance in the reader and it gives the hero/heroes (God, Jesus, the Apostles, etc.) a more purposeful role.

    Your statement reminds me of the Supernatural season five finale. Lucifer tries to persuade Michael from fighting him by saying (I'm paraphrasing) "Dad created us all. He made me this way. He wanted the Devil.", but despite the validity in Lucifer's reasoning, his brother, though seemingly sad about the task set before him, says "You're a monster Lucifer, and I have to kill you". And that's pretty much the sentiment of the Christians. They claim that God is infallible, and yet, everything that is imperfect leads back to him.

    Its called conversations with God an Uncommon Dialogue byt Neale Donald Walsch. Very insightful stuff. Like I said if you or anyone else would like me to email the audio book let me know.

    By the way I don't believe you're doomed to fail unless you choose to. God may have created heaven and earth but I do believe like most things touched by human hands we fucked up the meaning behind existence when trying to explain it. You are perfect as is everyone else in this world and I will debate anyone else who says otherwise and will be right every time.
    There is nothing that is here that isn't suppose to be here and to say otherwise whether it be from someone who is religious or not only proves their own arrogance and ignorance.
    We are created from the same thing that makes stars moves mountains and created life. Pure energy.

    I agree. Death instantly became one of my favorite characters and I'm sure this was true for many other Supernatural fans. He had the nonchalance of one who actually had lived as long as God or longer, and his dialogue was interesting and humbling. He also had style. :cool:

    clears throat...you dare to question god himself...???

    {(x), (y) (x=y)}
    {(x), (BMJ), (x+BMJ=-y)}
    {(y), (GOD), (y+GOD=-x)}
    Therefore, (BMJ=GOD). Do you understand???
