Actually, the first adaptation was a movie called "The Last Man On Earth". Starring Vincent Price, this movie was released in 1964. While probably considered no more than a museum piece today, it's known for being highly influential to George Romero's first zombie movie "Night of the Living Dead". It was about 7 years later that "The Omega Man", starring Charlton Heston, was released.
Don't feel bad. When it comes to horror movies, nobody's more trivial than I. Somehow I feel I just insulted myself. :?
Wow, Vincent Price, his movies scared the stuffin' out of me when I was a kid. Especially his adaptations of Poe's work. *creepin' me out man *shiver
Fnnysmrtprtty, there is nothing and NOONE scarier than Matt Damon. He ought to be the villain in every horror movie.
 Are we getting back to your Bourne fetish? Or is that MY Bourne fetish....hmm, can't remember...
I heard that If you say "Matt Damon" three times in the mirror with the lights off he will appear and drag you screaming and kicking back to the flaming screaming hellish pits of South Boston. Actually, Fnnysmrtprtty, I remember you having a fetish for Desh. This Friday i'm going to check out the new Rambo.
i was thinking of heading out to see cloverfield myself.. not that anyone cares as for rambo.. I tend to give every Stallone Movie a chance.. he's just one of those actors you see, even if you know his movie might tank, at the box office... him and Arnold...back when he used to do "blockbusters" I want to see Jumper, with Sam Jackson in it also. he's another actor, who's movies I'll see regardless of the rating (I actually liked Snakes on a Plane, lol)
  You have me rolling this morning!! Now seriously, stop taking Matt Damon's name in vain or I'm going to stop this car... As for Desh, it's nothing personal, any gangly bm on a scooter gets me calling 1-900-Mix-A-Lot to kick them nasty thoughts...
Bermuda is the place for you then. Brothas on scooters all over the place. A scooter is a good idea over there because the streets are so narrow. When you drive some of the roads it looks like you're about to have a head on collision every time a car passes you. It can be scary. Anyway, I will probably shift focus from the evil that is Matt Damon to Sly Stallone. I'm off to see Rambo in a few. I'll be writing up a review later.
