*giggles* (not at the fact you're blocked in, but at the idea of it being a bad horror movie).

That was a few hours ago, hope you're still not blocked in, and that everything's alright!

That image was all over FB yesterday. I hear it was photoshopped.

It's very calm this morning in Virginia. The storm dumped a bunch of rain, but I see no downed power lines or trees anywhere near my home. May venture out later and check out the damage. Still have power! :smt026

I hope everyone else is ok

LOL @ TDK "the black guy better make it"

    Silly...

I never liked Sandy anyway. She has revenged. Two large tree fell on my house and damage the roof. Two cars in the driveway buried under trees. I have to wait for insurance befoore I remove the trees and know if I still own cars or scrap metal. Thesound of thee trees hitting the roof was scary, and the reason I am not mad is that it could have been worse and n. Nobody injured so . Sending msg from cell so syntax might be wrong...

Glad YOU are safe. That is what you have insurance for. The companies will start catastrophe duty and send in adjusters from around the country. Soon claims handling will be at warp speed as soon as the adjusters can get in.

    stay safe folks.

I will say this though, people on the North East coast are normally rude as hell so in a way its karma.

    Nice personal attack.

Its true in many ways though. New Yorkers are some of the rudest people on Earth.

  14. So you call it karma whats happening to people out here. I hope your house never washes away.

    Dear North,

I know how vicious the Cat 1 hurricanes are....but get back to me when you get a Cat 3, and 130 mph winds back to back to back like in 2004. Give me a break.

I'm so sick of hearing about this "superstorm" bullshit.

Thanks jc and cherok33. I hope the adjuster come quickly. I could )not even remove the bidg branches to see if I have a car or scrap metal. Funny is that it is better tthat he bigger ttree fell on my house than my neighbors because the definatly would have been in the news with fatalities. There house is smaller and would have been split into two. Typing on cellphone.......tuU hi

Hope I am allowed to be ass flipant next time you have to deal with 2 feet of snow. The reality is we don't have to deal with these kind of things. We weren't prepared
