I was in a situation similiar to yours. My ex-H cheated and so did I with a co-worker of his. It started 3 years ago. Fast forward to now. I am divorced, which is a GOOD thing, as my marriage was not good. I am happily dating a great guy(not the man I had the affair with) and I finally am happy after getting my shit together and learning how to live for me.

The point I am making is even if an affair is a mutually decided physcial thing only, it detoriates the marriage. Most people I know who have had/have affairs do so because they are unhappy. Dragging someone else into your unhappiness is not the best course of action. You will come to a point where you need to decide on the marriage or the affair. Ending it now would make it easier if you want to stay married. The long you knock boots with this dude the hard it will be.

My former lover and I are friends sort of now(without the benefits) but we could not ever be in a relationship due to lack of trust(we tried and failed) Even if it is just physical, you grow to depend on that person to be part of your life. It is hard to get naked with someone on a regular basis and not feel something for that person.

Because Bosoxlady got burned somehow and now wants to project her morality upon others. Too bad she didn't have all these morals before she started cheating

My morality or in that case lack thereof has nothing to do with it. It is equally wrong for a single person to knowingly sleep with a married person than for a married person to have an affair. Yes I exercised poor moral standards and I can admit it. It is something that I would not do agian. My advice was based on expereince b telling the lady in question to end it before more people are hurt.

You still haven't explained why. The single person didn't take any vows and isn't wearing any rings.

The single person might not be wearing a ring or have taken vows, but they are still complacant morally. Remember the commandment about coveting your neighbor's wife? They allow they adultery to occur, just like the get away driver in a bank robbery facilitates the crime even though he or she did not stick up the bank.

You folks need to stop, you know it is dead wrong to sleep with someone else's wife in 1808 and here in 2008 it is dead wrong, you know you would be mad as hell if you found out your wife was cheating on you. I know for myself I would not do it what if dude catches you and blows your brains out,too many single women single women out there to get caught up fooling with a married woman.

It's called hypothetical. And unmarried women dropping illegitimate babies was wrong in 1808 for example but doesn't seem wrong now as millions of women do it.

LOL @ bosoxlady quoting scripture after she did her dirt.

Now now like my mom use to say if they all was jumping off a cliff would you do it. I think folks still frown on having babies out of wedlock, but what can I say I guess it is the in thing to do. Bos seems to have learned from her mistake and maybe she does not want anyone esle to make that mistake.

i don't know if anybody has already said this, but some women will wear fake wedding/engagement rings just to scare off the weirdos. i don't know if that's what this chick is doing, but i guess it's possible.

also, as a married woman, i can say that sometimes getting a little attention (such as a look, flirting, etc.) from men other than my husband is nice. it doesn't on any level mean that i want to cheat or pursue any other relationship...sometimes it's just nice to know that "i've still got it", lol. i know that sounds kinda stupid, but it's true. and also, on those rare occasions where i'm all "dolled-up", looking hott, and feeling confident...it's fun to shoot a look at another guy....just b/c i can.

of course, who knows what the gym lady is up too...but i'm just saying what i know.

She may be married with an open marriage. Some may not agree with it, but it happens.

wow I didn't mean to upset so many people. I was just trying to confess some. It is true though, it's nice when someone thinks you are sexy. My husband stopped paying any attention to me long ago. He had the same problem. I honestly think it was therapudic (spelling??, lol) Me made (makes) me feel sexy.
