Do you mean go on without her? Or just go on as if nothing is happening, even though it could very well be.
I don't think it's about 'worrying won't stop them' as much as it is about putting them on notice that their behavior is not cool with you.

No, I mean not letting whether they are or aren't drive you to the point of distraction. In my mind, I make a determination that, if I like them enough, I won't share them. Then I get an understanding with her and if she violates that, I walk or not. But worrying about them being around someone else of the opposite sex has no bearing on whether they will or not. If they want to, they will. If they don't, they won't. The key is being the kind of significant other that they won't risk losing.

Very true. But when you are in a new relationship and you see things that make you doubt or the walk isn't matching the talk, how do you act like it's not important? How is that not worrisome? I don't go looking for trouble. I don't snoop, I don't grill someone. But when things don't add up, I begin to doubt. And then fear of being humiliated begins creeping in. For me to be comfortable and happy in a relationship, I have to feel safe, I have to be able to trust (like most people, I would imagine). True, there may be viable explanations to things and I shouldn't assume that something is the way it appears to me. There may be another answer. But when confronted with a pattern of behavior that seems suspect, how does one just not worry?
