LOL...you are SO wrong! And I don't know what all this "white women don't find me attractive" talk is all about....I'm not even that into light-skinned brothas, but you're a cutie....so shut it! ;)

    I beg to differ....read below....

Okay, at the risk of being judged, I'm gonna get real vulnerable here, lol. First off, I totally agree that sex should be important/special every time. And yes, with experience you can definitely please your partner much better than if you have NO experience and NO clue what the hell you're doing. But I totally disagree that "wack sex will destroy any good situation no matter how much you like a person." Here is where I get vulnerable, lol...my husband took my virginity and I took his. I was 25 when I gave it up, and yeah the first time....it was a little wack. Shoot, the first few times were a little wack, lol. But while most people say it's better for two people to have prior experience, I almost want to argue that if neither of you have experience, it's almost better. I say that b/c with no past partners, my husband and I have spent endless hours over the years with foreplay and sex just figuring out what the other one likes - what works best for us! There are no inhibitions, no comparisons to other people, no disappointments in wishing one of us performed like so-and-so from back in the day. We are totally open with each other about what feels good, what doesn't, etc. It's like we're customized for each other. I've taken a lot of heat from other people telling me that b/c I've only been with one man, that I obviously don't know what good sex really is. I think that's bullshit to be honest. There's never been an issue with either of us reaching the big O. And putting procreation aside, the sole purpose of sex is to have an absolutely animalistic, climactic, toe-curling, sweat-dripping, catch-your-breath, heart-racing, earth-shattering orgasmic experience, riiight?? Granted, it hasn't always been that way, but our sex life is 400x better now than it once was. I have no regrets about having only one partner...definitely was worth the wait. :smt083

Okay, now don't rip me to shreds.

You'd be surprised at the grief females receive about carrying around that dirty V badge. I know it's not as bad for us as it is for dudes, but let me tell ya...I took all kind of crap for it - usually from other women.

Sex is awesome, but having it too soon or with the wrong person can really screw up a good thing. You've got the rest of your life to boink, so don't dive in just to feel the splash. ;)

OMG....LOL!! You are hilarious! But yes, there's definitely an art to being on top....and damn it's some good stuff once you know how to work it...lol. :smt003

Wow SC you basically just told us you won the lottery while being struck by lightning. Your situation is uber rare my friend, very sweet but rare. I think you're the exception not the ruleand I think DJ is totally correct when saying the big V for men is looked down upon especially to women. Women want a guy who can give them orgasms its a big part to how deeply you fall in love.

lol...well, thank you! and thanks for not hatin'. ;)

And I totally agree with your last statement. I guess I got really blessed to have a man who's a good lover. If I was never having orgasms, I might be tooting a different horn, but damn....that boy can do things with his tongue that I didn't know were humanly possible, LOL. :smt047 :smt047 :smt047

    sorry...TMI, I know.

When you're a guy, you're gonna get a lot of crap from both genders. With guys it's viewed as a matter of abilities; with women it's mainly a matter of choice. That's why a guy who's surrounded by women is more astonishing than a woman surrounded by men.

I don't think about sex and women excessively. It's more of a psychological thing really. Every man wants to be taken seriously, to be accepted as a man, and ironically enough, you need women to do that. That's why André Maurois said that "there is nothing of so much importance, or of so much use to a young man entering life as to be well criticized by women". Femininity pretty much exists independently though. A woman can be abstinent or be a lesbian and she's still a woman.

Definitely feelin' ya. I'll admit, I wouldn't want to be a dude in today's society - there's a lot of pressure on you guys from all different angles. The best advice I can give you is to just be comfortable with the man you are. You seem smart, you seem sweet...just roll with that. Life is tough - don't let societal expectations break you. :yawinkle:

    Aw, you're so kind. Thanks.

I'm actually too absorbed in my books, and my writing, and cranking out ideas to let society break me down. Unfortunately, that's not the case for everyone. Guys are around four times more likely than women to kill themselves due to an inability to form meaningful relationships. In the end it all boils down to how much you like yourself, but I suppose it's never that simple since human beings are social creatures, even if they don't have all of the right social skills.

I haven't written any fiction. I mainly write philosophy/administrative theories. I'm a classicist at heart and really enjoy ancient-medieval literature. Especially ancient-medieval treatises that pertain to the art of governance.

Well that explains your signatures then. I don't know many people who've read Baltasar Gracian. He's one of my favorites, and his The Art of Worldly Wisdom contains what I feel are amazing insights into human behavior that are still very much applicable in today's world. Your new signature references Dante who is another favorite of mine.

I would love to read some of your philosphy. I'm more modern with my philosphy but I'm open to anything.

As far as philosophy goes, Gracian is my favorite. I haven't read Dante's 'De Monarchia' yet, but I plan to.

My current signature is actually from Gracian's 'A Pocket Mirror for Heroes' (as was my previous quote). It's sad that he doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
