nothing wrong with that, miss. its when it gets out of hand it becomes crazy. Once, i had a dream i dated Jessica Simpson. but then again, it was just that, A DREAM.

 

I am not crazy for celebrities, i like regular women i see in my city and all around me. I find a realness to them, not always dolled up. I love preppy girls mostly.

 

i am not, by any means, crazy for them either. I just love them and thats it. But as a wife, i'd rather have a regular, around-the-way, white woman. They seem more genuine and make better partners and more importantly, mothers.

oh yes i certainly do. i've spoken to my parents about it. They were wary at the beginning but a little reassurance worked the magic. Now my parents are okay with it. But her parents, uh uh? Especially her father. He couldnt stand my every gut and told her never to bring me to his presence ever again. Why? I am black. I even heard him say it with my two ears. But its ironic since Eva's mother is a brown-skinned Dominican. but there you go. This caused so many problems in our relationship but like they say, "Tribulations are the test of a man's strong will. So we tried to make things work and i kept my faith in God because i know with God, all things are possible. I didnt want to lose my soulmate because quite frankly, i wait to find a woman just like Eva.

However, in a suddent reverse of fortune, some glorious things have happened and Eva's dad loves me more than money. He got to understand me and find out that the color of my skin doesnt make me any less of a law-abiding, intellectual, successful black male. Now, our families have accepted us all and my family have got to meet with hers and now, we're all one family in Jesus Christ. All that is left is proposing to her which i bite my every nerve over. We've been going out since March 2003 and i think this might very well be the right woman for me. I make her happy all the time but i feel that is the very last thing i need to do. Now i know marriage is a very complicated concept which is more difficult to handle than it seems but im ready to forfeit anything and do the best just for Eva.

I've been thinking and thinking for a very long time when to ask her the big question. I first said maybe when i get me a job and get settled but that i have done. All that is left is to ask her and that i find much of a Herculan task. But i know the time is coming nearer and neareer until it can wait no more. Sooner or later i am just gonna have to ask her. Maybe you can help a brotha out. :wink:

 

Sounds beautiful man. I know what its like to have a girls parents not approve. Unluckily for me it ended up playing a role in my relationship ending. I am happy for you. I know I am only 21 but if i could give you any advice it would be to make sure she is the one you wanna spend the rest of your life with because once those words ("will you marry me") come out of your mouth, you cannot take them back. Once you are sure she is the one then go for it. The worst that can happen is she says no...

I would love to be with a celebrity woman. They beautiful, rich, talented, and they could help me get into the business. I am an aspiring actor and have taken a few acting classes here at NYU film school (growing up i wanted to be a director) and a famous girlfriend could definitely get you in the door. I have no problem being with a woman who makes more money than me or is more famous. But yea since it will probably never happen, I'll be happy with a normal chick. At least they aren't as high maintenance...
