Not only did the horse rattle the McDonald's customers, but it insulted their sense of smell and curbed their appetite completely when it pooped on the floor, according to UPI.com on July 23. The woman was riding her horse and her daughter was on her pony when they trotted up to the Whitefield, Greater Manchester McDonald's drive-thru window. The employee said she couldn't take their order while on a horse, but they were welcome to come inside. That's when Christine McGrail cut off her nose to spite her face, one might say, as she sent her daughter into McDonald's with her pony in tow. The police were called when the pony pooped on the floor, causing a stir among folks eating their meals, as you might imagine. McGrail recognizes now that she “acted rashly” and she shouldn't have encouraged her daughter Olivia to take the pony, Minnie, inside McDonald's. McGrail waited outside with her horse, and sent her daughter into the restaurant. McGrail's complaint was that she's been on her horse before and served at the drive-thru and felt the employee was out of line not waiting on her. So in spite she sent her daughter in with her pony. McGrail said when she's gone through the drive-thru before, people thought it was funny. Even the pony in McDonald's was meant to be funny conveyed McGrail. The police didn't think this was funny at all, neither did the people eating and who lost their appetite once the horse defecated on the floor. McGrail was fined 90 pounds for causing “alarm and distress” and barred from returning to McDonald's horse or no horse, she's banned. ..
