Hilfer Says "NO" To Russell's Date

It's bros before hos for buddies Russell Simmons and Tommy Hilfiger. After Hilfiger told the Def Jam founder that Russell's new pal Ashley Dupre was unwelcome at Tommy's Fashion Week party at the Jane Hotel, Simmons disinvited Eliot Spitzer's call girl, The Post's Chuck Bennett reports. "Tommy didn't feel her presence would be appropriate," said Hilfiger rep Paul Wilmot.

 

You know if she showed up, the media would have been all over it.

 

What was Russell thinking? Bringing that woman to a fashion event? It is like a Democratic big wheel inviting Obamagirl to the inaugural ball.

 

Is she still prostituting, if not people sure still act like she is.
Damn, what is happening to second chances and forgiveness
in this country.

 

Seems like Russell is angling for attention or perhaps he's a private client these days. After the Spitzer bust Ashley was caught up in another scandal with a married man whose wife was a friend of her mother's so she has no scruples. I'm wondering if Russell has a difficult personality since he should have no problem attracting a higher caliber of women to take in public.

 

Question is, would Spitzer be welcomed?
