Is Heidi Klum Erasing Seal (From Her Arm)?

Love fades … much more quickly than tattoos.

Heidi Klum has been quietly working to remove her tat of ex-husband Seal's name from her arm. New photos of the "America's Got Talent" judge out in Manhattan show the ink has significantly faded, but she appears to have a long way to go in the removal process.

When reached by omg!, a rep for the German beauty had no comment, but a source confirms to People magazine that Klum "is in the process of getting her tattoo removed" and has "been through a few treatments."

I haven't gotten anyone's name tattooed on me. But someone got my name tattooed on him almost 10 years ago. It's still there.

That's a big NO! I've seen relationships go sour too often for me to permenantly ink a mans name on my body. My kids...yes (done), my football team...yes (done), but no matter how much I love a man, I'll never put his name on me. If its not something I'll love for life, its not going on my body, and unfortunately there's no guarantee with love.

hell to the no. That's almost as bad as getting married (though tattoo removal is generally cheaper than divorce).

Awe, hell no! I'm not tattooing anyone's name on my body. I don't care who it is. Living or dead. Sometimes, I think it's kind of wierd tattooing someone who has passed on your body anyway. If they meant that much to you, you're not going to forget them. And, if you think you might, then they didn't mean that much to you anyway. I say this because I hear people say they got the tatt because they never want to forget someone who's dad. You want to honor them? Treat them right while they're here and be a person they'd be proud of after they're gone.

But, that's just me. I don't understand tattoo culture anyway. So, it's entirely possible that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I always think of it as when Tupac said, "I got your name tatted on my arm
So we both ball til' my dying days" etc. I would do it if someone meant a lot to me, if I felt like what was between us transcended coupledom. I know couples who you can sense about them that no matter what, they'll always be together and/or find their ways back to each other if something happens and as life happens because their bond and what they have is more than anything we've been able to put label (spouse, lover, etc) on.

A friend of mine told me her friend went to a club, met a guy, they got pissy drunk, and both woke up in the morning together with the other's name tattooed on their chest. Problem was, both were married to other people! :smt106

Stupidity knows no bounds when someone inks their bod drunk or sober. They don't know how painful to remove one.

I have never worn a tattoo(except for temporary ones back in the days). If I were to get one right now, it has to have meaning for me.
