VERY interesting. I'll definitely take a look into this movie. I wonder when the release date will be? Or will it be online for everyone to watch?

You can see it in limited theaters in NYC, LA, Atlanta, and Toronto this month. If you dont live in any of those cities, then just wait for the DVD to come out.

When the DVD comes out, someone needs to put it out there on BitTorrent so I could download it for free.

the one of the producers of this movie is the macklessons radio show. he was trying to get the public to pitch in so they can raise money to get the production going and stated you can get your name in some kind of list where it would make you viable (to a point) in hollywood. I would have to find the podcast to put it for you

Update: I was able to catch the New York Showing. Definitely a great documentary. Should be required viewing for all people of African Descent. You guys should definitely buy the DVD.

Looks interesting, right up my alley of history.

Its amazing the Chinese, Japanese, Indians, even the Native Americans know their history.

What we learn in American schools even for Afro-American history is very weak in terms of depth and point of views. Its often centered around slavery and blacks are often a backdrop of the wider experience. Like props in a play.
