haha...well, well, well. doesn't that sound familiar. weren't the Saints supposed to KILL the Bears too? lol the Ravens have a great defense, but their offense isn't that good, and their special teams took a hit when they lost what's his name? B.J. Sams for the season.

the Colts are a great team, just like the Bears are, which is exactly why i won't be predicting this game because i just don't know what's gonna happen. i think the Bears will win (and not just because i'm a homer) but i really don't know.

anyway, sorry Jrem, but there's NO WAY that the Colts kill the Bears in this one. :) it'll be a close game.

It must be sooo nice being a fan of the Aints right now. You get an early start for the upcoming draft, and you don't have to spend any money buying tickets to a game that your team obviously won't be playing in.

hey Jrem, all you have to do is right click on that gif image and you'll have it stored away as a sacred memory for as long as you live...lol boy your Aints look tired in that play don't they? i mean, they allowed Thomas Jones to look like Walter Payton out there. pathetic! if i were you i'd send a letter to the GM and tell him to completely revamp that sorry defense of yours. it's pitiful. :) man it feels good talking some trash with you Jrem! i hate the Aints now! haha 8)

    My dear Bry...
Our D was 11th overall in the NFL...I wouldn't call that a SORRY defense ok????

And dude, are u sure u are a Bears fan???

Did u just compare Thomas Jones to "Sweetness"??? even some REAL Bears fan would wanna spank you for that...and I don't mean in a sexual way!!! :)

Did u hear how u Bears fan insulted the Saints fans?? ur lack of class doesn't deserve a win in the Superbowl!!!

    BEARS GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bryant New Member

oh Never! i'll never compare Thomas to Sweetness. it's just that your defense made him look like Sweetness for a day that's all. i'm just kidding with ya Jrem. i have to admit that there are some Bears fans who showed a complete lack of class by talking about the hurricane though, and i'm totally not one of them. those are some ignorant b*stards if you know what i mean. i like to keep it about football and nothing more. now, where were we?

well, okay. i don't think the Saints defense is that bad. i'm just teasing with you. you guys have a good team, and all of us Bears fans could see that. it's just that the media and 85 percent of the country picked the Saints to win that game, including our very own beat writers, which really ticked me off. it's all in good fun though Jrem. you guys definitely have an up and coming team....but i wouldn't tuck those brown paper bags too far into the closet if you know what i mean...haha

MAN, that sounds like some gross stuff...I mean, GROSSman stuff!!!

    Your Bears are going down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, I know u are classy and would never have insulted Nawlins fans like some of the Bears fans did at Soldier field...
But still, u guys are now cursed bcoz of that behavior...COLTS 31-Bears 16!!! Sorry Bry, that's the way it goes!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D

    Hahahahaaaaaaaa...
Listen to the Coors light commercial with Mike Ditka, famous Bears coach...DO NOT LIVE IN THE PAST!!!

We areone Drew Breed injury away from being the aints again??? not with Deuce and Reggie...not with Colston and maybe soon, Asante Samuel to replace Fred Thomas...and then we'll come and spank u at Soldier Field...mark my words!!!

and by the way, u are one Grossman fumble away from being a big LOSER BEAR in the Supabowl!! hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Well Jrem, it looks like my dear Bears have been thoroughly dominated by the Indianapolis Colts. Such a stunning defeat.

We didn't show up to play today, and we were thoroughly outcoached. And for anyone whose ready to blame Rex for our crushing defeat, just don't even bother, because i'm not hearing it. Rex isn't the reason we lost this game. Rex completed 20 of 28 passes. The 2 INT's came because of poor coaching and putting Rex in situations that he probably wasn't gonna succeed in anyway.

When Benson got hurt, it was over. We're a running football team, and when one of those guys goes down, that doesn't bode well for us.

My hats off to Indianapolis because they deserve to be champions. We were runners up, but obviously nobody cares about who finishes second. Maybe we'll get Tommie Harris and Mike Brown back and return to the bowl next season, maybe we won't. But one things for sure, i'm extremely proud to be a Bears fan. We definitely have a bright future ahead of us.

Well, it was a great NFL season JRem, and i definitely enjoyed smack talking with ya. Both of our teams came up a little short this year. I'm looking forward to a lot of Bears vs. Saints NFC championship showdowns in the many years ahead.

Aww sowwy Bwyant, you guys came vewwy, vewwy close but couldn't do it. :( 8)

Pardon my sarcasm, but really i wanted the Bears to win. In fact, i had myself thinking that somehow Chicago would win after Hester scored that early touchdown but i have this superstition about sports and finals; whoever starts up big somehow loses and so i decided not to get my hopes up.

When Indiana scored their last touchdown, i practically knew the game was over. And please, don't nobody blame Grossman.. The Bears' played very awful in the second half. Their offense was shyt and their defense was even worse. Grossman still managed to connect on 20 of 28 passes for 165 yards with 1 TD, 2 interceptions and a 68.3 passer rating. The remainder of the team was pretty much tired by the time the Indianapolis Colts scored 16 straight points to turn a 14-6 second-quarter deficit into a 22-14 lead.

I do not honestly think the Colts were good on the night, Chicago happened to be awful.

Well, it's a wrap. Time to focus on the NBA for me. It was a great year of football and hopefully, next year would be better.

hey Cris, i agree. but the main thing that bothers me is the fact that we let Indianapolis beat us at our own game. they outsmashmouthed (if that's even a word...lol) us. they outplayed us, outcoached us, outhustled us, outeverythinged us. we picked the worst time of the year to have a dreadful showing. i am so disappointed right now. :( even though i'll have to wait another year to get my Bears super bowl champion tatoo on my arm, i'm still extremely proud to be a Bears fan.

so now there's the NBA. :) you know i'm rooting for either the Heat or the Bulls in the east (with the Heat being my first preference and the Bulls being my second) or the Nuggets, Rockets, or Suns in the West. the Jazz and Lakers are also pretty good teams. i cannot stand San Antonio. they are the epitomy of boring. and the Mavs, i hate them even more. i hate all their players and their midget coach...LOL sorry, that was harsh, but they were all acting like jerks during the finals last year, and i haven't forgotten. i can't wait to see them go down in the playoffs again this year. Let's go Heat!!!!!!!!

Word, Bry. Chicago could have picked a much more convenient time to lose this game. I felt Peyton Manning was good yesterday but Chicago happened to be bad on the night. They practically were lifeless in the second half. I could see the dejection and the fact that they had given up the game because they kept screwing up every possession, getting their passes intercepted and the defense was everything they could not have wished for. Hey, i feel your pain, man. Work was so alarmingly annoying today with people gloating over the fact that i picked the Bears to win. It got pretty tired after some time. Never mind, you guys would have another shot. At least y'all made the big stage unlike the Dolphins.......

About the NBA, well let's just say that i'm standing by my Heat. And no, i am not bandwagoning; i have been a Heat fan since i moved here in 2000. I was a Heat fan when we barely made it into the playoffs and i'll be a fan forever. We started off the season pretty bad but have improved and whilst Shaq isn't fully fit yet, he's been giving his best. Whether they can put their bodies, dignities and respect on the line like last year still remains a mystery and without Coach Riley (at least temporarily), i wonder how we'd cope. Besides, we have a number of old men like Payton who cannot really play well for more than like 10 minutes. Zo is still a dominant defensive player but his offense has been slowed down (understandably). Right now, we're 8th seed or so and if the playoffs began today, we'd play Washington which might seem easy but in reality isn't. Arenas has been on a one-man show since the beginning of the season and he's done his thing. I cannot say we'd win all over again but i still believe we can go far.

I know it seems cliche but the West is still the dominant conference right now. They have three teams (Phoenix, San Antonio and Dallas) who are arguably title contenders and they have the best records in the league. The Suns are still practically the best in the league currently; Dallas, even though i hate them so much, are doing their thing and you'd be a fool to write off San Antonio as they always save the best for playoff time.

The resumption after the All Star Game (for which i shall be going to Vegas for 8) ) would be the decider of how the season goes. I still think Nuggets were a bit too over-hyped following Iverson's blockbuster move but they can go far. The Jazz are overrated and will not get out of the second round and i doubt the Lakers shall get to the Finals but they have potential too. On the East, i think Washington, Cleveland, Detroit and Miami will be joined by Orlando and Chicago, for now. The remaining are a bit undecided.

    HEY BRY!!!

Sorry man, I was just sooooooooooooooo busy getting over my hangover after the TEDDY BEARS' loss!!! :D:D:D:D

    Alright man...u guys had a shot...u know u have a good team, but PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE...don't defend T-Rex...

Bry u are a surprising guy...u should know when someone is BAD...
He might get better...I agree...maybe one day he'll even make the pro-bowl...
But remember what I told u before..."u are one Rex fumble away from losing the Supabowl"...well, he fumbled the snap twice, threw INTs, didn't look comfortable in the pocket (as usual)...and all u can do is blame it on EVERYBODY ELSE but REX???
Ok, he isn't the only culprit, but c'mon, u know he is quite POOR as a quarterback!!

Anyway, now let's wait for the next season!!!
The NBA isn't that exciting...the Bulls ain't going nowhere...the Heat maybe...the Hornets...well...let's not talk about them...I'm for the Spurs and TONYYYYY and Timmy...oui oui!! :)

    PEACE!!
