They should have never canceled this fantastic show. I just finished watching the last episode on sidereel. I still haven't gotten over the Sarah Connor chronicles, the 4400, even Boston Public, lol. They never leave good shows alone.
You have to understand, Afrolove. It went downhill right after the first series ended. Second season and beyond that just doesn't make sense. Granted, I own the first season. And due to the high costs of production, of course. They just scrapped the plan to make Heroes the movie.
I have to agree with NC the first season of Heroes was amazing but the second season sucked balls. That whole Hiro going into the past bullshit was horrible and I didn't get why Peter needed Sylar's power in the Third season. The show could have been far better fam. I do agree 4400 was amazing and should have been left alone.
It was a slowly dying victim of the writer's strike. That was why second season was so short and from there on, the show continued to have problems. Along with it's main writer jumping off and on the ship. It's a shame it ended in the way it did because I thought the final season was pretty good and it would have been nice if they at least got to wrap things up.
I loved the first season and everything after that! I was hopin' that SciFi would pick it up on another one of those other networks. I mean it still got better ratings that some of the shows on the WB.
Sylar and Peter starting developing God-like powers, at which point the series lost its edge for me. I still enjoyed it and was depressed when it was canceled. I bet you Heroes at its worst was better than that new joint, The Cape, or that series about the superhero family that's on right now.
Totally agree with you. The story lines were well written too. I wonder why it was cancelled. I also really liked Kyle Xy I don't get why they cancel good shows but shit like Two and a half men get 8yrs. Wtf.
I heard rumors that a possible Wonder Woman TV show may be in the works, much like a tv show about the Teen Titan Raven, both having a similar approach like Smallville, following their years before becoming the heroes in the comics. While I would like a Wonder Woman show, I think I would like to see what they would do with Raven, since you could potentially have characters like Robin and Cyborg guest star on the show.
