This isn't really news, it's been known in some circles since it happened.

On top of being an idiot with incredibly inane economic policies, he has no respect for women.

What would happen if you saw him on top of you while you're sleeping, breathing down your throat, making weezing noises and he perpetually farts the place up like that scene with Ripley and the Alien?

Hey...I'm probably the craziest motherfucker around here with ideas up the wazoo. I could have taken up psychology, but I would have killed someone from too much mental imagery.

While I have no sympathy for Herman Cain's current state of affairs, and hold a decidedly negative view of him for more absurd statements he's floated in the media, the current cloud(s) hanging over Cain and the future clouds awaiting any candidate running for political office is part of a beast that politicians, the media, and special interest groups/think tanks cranked up years ago. Sadly, its the voting public who is asked to digest the "crack", and are repeatedly force fed the sideshows regardless of the origins, validity, or purpose, if such shows increase viewer share/circulation, influence minds looking for a quick fix or create reasonable doubt/confusion or sway in the support of fickle allegiances, while more important issues go unaddressed and more important questions are left unanswered. In a country that prides itself on the separation of church and state, religion seems to hold center stage and prominence in politics. In a country that promotes itself as the "Land of the Free, and guaranteed constitutional rights, increasingly those perceived rights are being abridged with impunity and a silent public, who accepts the infringements and abridgements with only an occasional grumble.

One of the most important things lacking in politics is truth... Or is it a matter of what we want to believe? Nobody is perfect, but owning up to ones' mistakes and telling the whole truth takes real character... Something we're not likely to see regardless of who wins a seat... Just my opinion...

Cain's campaign is mostly a joke, something White conservatives use as a shield against racism. They pull the "Cain cards" to show they are not hateful to Blacks. Obama on the other they hate because he is treated more seriously than Herman Cain.

I still never believed the major money brokers in the GOP would ever have put $100s of millions into the Cain campaign.

All of this was an effort to force Romney to swing harder to the right.

As disastrous as BHO's presidency has been in terms of reviving a cratered economy in 4 years( a trick not even Adam Smith and John Keynes could pull off), the only GOP candidate with a shot of defeating Obama in 2012 is Romney.

The rest are the latest whack jobs from the right wing bum of the month club.

Cain's latest is to say he is a brother to the Koch Brothers "brother from another mother."

I'm sorry, but not only are his positions and associations garbage, he does not even seem to realize he's being played by the big money folks on the right, so they can claim not to be racist.

LOL, that is the funniest part about the whole thing.

A candidate they put forth should be able to easily defeat Obama in these economic times, but they are so bland and uninspiring that Mitt Romney is essentially there go to guy.

Looks like 4 more years for Obama.

Allred: Cain offered client 'his idea of a stimulus package'

    11/7/11 2:03 PM EST

    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67768.html#ixzz1d356gTDj

The Cain scandal finally has a name and a face.

Lawyer Gloria Allred Introduced her client Sharon Bialek at a press conference in New York Monday afternoon, telling reporters that the woman formerly employed at the NRA's educational arm had been subject to an unwanted sexual advance from the Republican presidential candidate.

Bialek, a Chicagoan, had raised money for the restaurant association before being terminated in 1997, Allred said. When she lost her job, she reached out to Cain for help.

"Mr. Cain instead decided to try to provide her with his idea of a stimulus package," Allred said.

Bialek detailed Cain's sexual overture, explaining that he spent money on a palatial hotel suite for her at the time of their meeting. When they saw each other in the evening, Bialek said he his hand on her leg, "reached for [her] genitals" and pushed her head toward his crotch.

When Bialek objected, Cain asked her: "You want a job, right?"

Bialek called on Cain to "come clean about what you did," saying: "Mr. Cain, I implore you, make this right."

Allred said her client is not filing a "lawsuit or claim" and has not been in touch with any of the womenwho have accused Cain of personal conduct.

Washington attorney Joel Bennett, who represents another Cain accuser, told POLITICO's Jonathan Martin that he had previously been in touch with a woman in Chicago who had been mistreated by Cain. But Bennett said he did not direct that woman to Allred and "as of when I spoke to her yesterday [Sunday], she hadn't decided to go public."

If the charges leveled against Cain by other women — as well as Bialek — hold up, Allred said, "I, for one, am disgusted at Mr. Cain’s serial sexual harassment of women. Because Mr. Cain, while running for president, is actively lying to Americans and showing disdain for our common sense and intellect."
