It's so sad that we still can't date in peace. Our union will forever be criticized. I wish people would stop letting the media prey on their insecurities or dictate things that are not true. Like my boy Intrigue came up with = Mocha World. I wish it were in existence...
hell yeah. Its funny to see people say "they are taking our bm". that is a statement I will knock holes into all day
I don't know how true this is: I saw this on that site that starts with a B and ends with a P.... WESTERN BUREAU: Six months after an inferno blazed between the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt, and Slovakian fashion designer Lubica Slovak, the relationship has sputtered. Those who expected the two to make it to the finish line, may be disappointed to learn that the former sizzling affair has made it a mere six metres, if measured. The record holder has opted to focus his energies on creating new records on the track, sources in his camp confirmed. Bolt is competing at the 2012 Olympics in the United Kingdom this summer and cannot afford any distraction at this time, his team added. Bolt and Slovak dominated social networks last month, after a photo, which was taken on a sponsored shoot, was leaked. The two parted more than 'lips' two weeks ago, an unexpected birthday gift. Research by The Star reveals that Slovak was introduced to the fastest man on the planet, just before Christmas 2011, by female reggae artiste Tami Chynn. Bolt, one of the most sought after bachelors worldwide, was rumoured to have been involved with former VH1 Show contestant Tanisha Lava Simpson as well as former British triple-jumper 23-year-old Rebeckah Passley, who claimed he broke her heart in an article in the SUN tabloid in 2010. It is not clear whether the triple-Olympic champion plans to re-ignite the sparks with his first flame, Mizicann Evans, who was seen with his parents at the Jamaica National (JN) Invitational meet at the National Stadium last Saturday in Kingston. "She remains a close friend of the family, and they (Usain and Mizicann) are in constant touch," said a friend of Bolt. http://jamaica-star.com/thestar/20120509/news/news1.html
.. which makes sense. He needs to focus his efforts on remaining at the top of his game so that all those good things that have been happening in his life continue.
I don't think there would be a problem with that. I guess what you'd prefer out of this site is if it was only composed of people who date exclusively towards BM/WW, since that's what the site is focused on. I don't have any problems with those who do date exclusively, I'm just not one of them. I like women of other racial groups just as heavily as I like white women. Socially and mathematically, it makes sense to do so. In addition to that, it's better to for me to be here under that premise than to be here because of a resentment towards some other ethnic group of people, which is why Dark Knight explained a few posts ago of why black women are justified to react the way they do when they see black men dating non-black women. Obviously you would have to agree with what I just said. I find it unlikely that you could contradict this. To the last thing you said (I merged your posts), that exists because of things that happened in the history of the Western world and because we still do things today that cause problems to be brought on ourselves. I could elaborate on it, but I probably shouldn't.
Usain is the fastest man of all time. Tiger Woods was (maybe still is) the best golfer of resent times. Kobe Byant, etc, etc. Yes, most black athletes are with BW, but the ones that truely matter usually are not. I don't know about thats. BM may not want a fake blonde sterotype, but if they had the option, I feel they might choose white. Keep in mind, the type of forum we're in. Didn't Chris Rock make a joke about catching ones girlfriend looking at him. The reason being, he wasn't her first choice. As a teenager, a lot of th BW prefered the mixed/lighter guys. They may not have said it openly, but they responed to them, more openly. My point is, I don't feel it is out of loyalty. East Asian women mary WM 38% in the States 1% other races. WW obivously date IR, so do Hispanic women. Do you REALLY think BW would be any different. It may sound cold-blooded, but I feel it is out of envy. If a BM is in good shape, and just studies in Uni (doesn't have to be rich) he will attract a non-BW. Will she be attractive...only a BM could say. BW, however, don't necessarily, have that option so freely. If a WM doesn't want her...thats it! She cannot force a man to date her.
Very true, but how long can you listen to the same song , over and over and over again. There is a breaking point.
Yet, you place women in a hierarchy on race. So, all this talk about "Socially and mathematically, it makes sense to do so", are just figments of your imagination, or in short.......lies.
Yeah, you're right. I should have re-wrote my post and just say that I like all women evenly. I read too deeply into Iggy's post.
A lot of people on this board don't date exclusively. There's only like a handful who do. It's not a preference, cause everyone's entitled to like who they like. I'm just curious, considering the premise of this site and what brings people here. You're entitled to like who you like. I'm glad you don't come here with an anti-whoever agenda. I don't like when someone downs someone to justify dating someone else. If you like who you like, own it! I didn't read what TDK wrote, so I don't know what I'm supposed to agree with or contradict. I'm not talking about anyone else, I just posed a question towards you. Mikey, I've lived a long time. I know what happens in the Western world. I was born in and live in it....
This was the post I was referring to. I'll bold some portions of it to clearly convey what I'm going to explain. This is probably correct and perhaps what's happening is that non-black women are associating with black men who have more economic and social mobility. This leaves black women with the black men who are at an economic disadvantage, which is problematic in their view. I think this has always been the case, and because we're in a recession, this practice has been exacerbated even further. I think there is one type of BM that is desired by all races of women, while another type wouldn't have attraction for any or maybe just certain BW who frequent sites like MediaTakeOut. The book that I'm reading to create a 10 page research paper (Disintegration - The Splintering of Black America) by Eugene Robinson explains it perfectly. He explains it a little better than I do. Our race is the only race that uniquely has to deal with something like this. Something wasn't fully carried out in the past, and if that "thing" was carried out, Robinson probably wouldn't have even made the book.
I appreciate you expounding on the above issue, but this has nothing to do with my question to you. I was just curious why you're here, when you had a list of who you deemed the most attractive, and WW were 3rd. Like I said, that's your preference, I was just inquiring about it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Well, that's actually based on the people within my campus. The hottest girl that I've seen that gave me a nice smile just walking was either of Bi-Racial or Hispanic descent. Everybody else is "just there", if you know what I mean.
