Has anyone else ever seen Hell Date on BET? It's kind of stupid, but it can be pretty entertaining. Gotta love some good 'ole fashion, brainless entertainment. 8)
I don't get BET so I have never seen it but I am all for brainless entertainment! Whenever I get somewhere that has uncensored TV and internet access I get as much as I can. I am hooked on trash tv I am ashamed to admit. Real World, G's to gents.......if it is shit and mindless I watch it. I have to remind myself when I get back to work to keep my mouth shut because my co-workers will think I am nuts! They all talk about the mindless crap on TV but I am sure some of them are just closeted watchers.
BET is a damn joke once they got rid of the news they really slid down hill and now they are catering to the lowest denominator. Johnson is a jerk with the way he fired some folks back when he was in charge, wouldn't let them folks go back to their desks to get their belongings.
What kills me is they think that's how black people really are. Then they see you in real life and try to relate to you on that level.
yup...i agree. the really sad thing is, alot of the black people who actually watch BET allow it to dictate to them what they think the "standard" of black should be. do you know what i mean? so, for me, i think BET is just feeding the stereotypes that white (and some black) america already has about black culture. it's pathetic.

I haven't watched BET since the Video Soul Top 10 Countdown on Fridays back when I was in high school.
The people complained about the show Hot Ghetto Mess but, not all the other shows that are just as bad. I did not know Johnson will not let the workers get their things after getting fired. Also,he trashed the news division.
