heat vs spurs championship series part 2

Seriously, that was all they talked about on FirstTake on ESPN yesterday.

 

Who would seriously take a cut like that? They already got championships as a team its not like Melo would make them any better

 

I don't know why, but maybe they're interested in building a dynasty type of team, where the team is forever thought of as one of the greats.

Maybe it's the Marxist in me, but I have no problem with the players/workers running the show and deciding to play together. It bothers me far less than the rich owner buying the team he wants, a la Yankees.

I'm not a big DJ Khaled fan, but he said one truism during all that babbling. People are almost always late. People here have a very Caribbean/Latin American attitude about time. I have never seen a public works or construction project done on time here. A lot of things are behind schedule, with zero penalty for tardiness. As for all his braggadocio about Dade County, he's no bandwagon fan, he is as Dade as it gets. He, Rick Ross, Pitbull and DJ Laz are on every damned billboard, bus, etc, that you see. They are constantly boosting the town and everything about it. I am under no illusion that the city is on a par with NYC, London, Paris or Tokyo. It's a great town, but it has a LOT wrong with it. I just love it for what it is.

Edit: Not that one has anything to do with the other, but I always hear from people in SoFla about how old the Spurs are., seemingly unaware of the fact that the Heat are older.

 

I'm just glad that the Spurs got the job done in a timely manner!

This was a redeeming win for them. They deserved it.
