I can't imagine why anyone would be so focused on a random stranger? It seems rather odd to me, and presumably the government would've made that determination?

    That is my assumption too.

Some people don't ask for what comes to them. They try their best to not be on the dole. And are embarrassed to be there. Having you besmirch them adds to being embarrassed. You need to grow some heart Arch. What if some day it were you unavoidably? You used to be one of the kinder people here. Lately you go down a path that you shouldn't.

Jeez he just asked a question and he used to be kind and is now going on a path he shouldnt? This moral policing should stop because you seem to like advising people on what to do in your opinion. Remember the thread by a forumer about positive things and you scolded the OP for such a thread? You used to be witty but you are now a bit too sensitive.

I don't think Arch is heartless or talking about heart. It's natural to see a 300 lb plus person with kids who are 200 lbs plus, and wonder why the fk they are buying shit loads of coke, yohos, frozen burgers and crap like that.

Nothing wrong with such a thought.

No appiah. I have worked in finance in medical facilities. Trust me a lot of people end of where they don't want to be.

Most people would rather be working and earning a good wage vs have cancer, back issues where they can stand or sit....high blood pressure that lead to the loss of a kidney, diabetes left untreated that lead them to have a limb amputated because they couldn't afford the rent and the meds. I could go on and on but you get the pic. Not all illnesses can be seen by the naked untrained eye of an idiot standing nearby.

Spoiled brats who have it all rarely have compassion.

Trust me they have to go through hoooooooooooooooops to get disability and therefore food stamps and medicaid. And even then it's a pittance. There are a few that spoil the intent of the program. Mostly drug dealers and some women who have a zillion children then get abandoned and can't get out and work unless there is another program for childcare.

So fvck you. You don't even live in this country and yet you have an opinion on any and everything. And usually it's as screwed up as they come. If we need advice on what your country is like we'll come to you. Until then what's your expertise in this country??

I have lived in your country as a child of a diplomat and as a cultural exchange student so trust me i know about your country more than some people even do. Your response shows how insular and myopic you are thinking because someone is not living in your country he cant make an input. You have proven that you are overly sensitive and isn't it rich that you are tell me fuck you especially when you quickly whine when people insult you? Look in the mirror before you start your moral uppity highhandedness. Fuck me? that's really rich!

When you lived and held a job here come back with an educated opinion.

I am guessing "fuck you" is an educated statement.

arch is startin to 'smell his own shit' that's all

from what I gather, he recently graduated college and got his first serious job

once he starts experiencing more life as an adult, maybe hit the bottom once or twice, he'll get a grip

    hopefully

or he may just end up joining the Republican party like Paniro

you know the mantra.......I got a job why cant you find one.oh you are just a low life and a bum.

it takes life to kick em in the ass. the problem when they lose a job and be out of work for awhile then they see the picture. but when they get re-employed then they go back to the pull yourself by the boot straps statement

A person should never forget where they came from. When they do their heart becomes hard and ugly.

like i said, he's still a newbie. he doesn't know what it's like to face disability during your work career, or lose a job and a home in a financial crisis. you can't take what he says too seriously

the funny thing about life is that the moment you think you're on top, is when shit starts happening to you. some people make due, others commit suicide because they don't know how to handle adversity like that.

id like to see him in 10 or 20 years
