Have You Ever Been Stalked ?

This is about stalking and if any of you experienced such incident and how you handled it, more importantly if there was any drama involved feel free to share your story with us after all this thread is gonna be gone after 30 days so make most of it.

Some of the ladies in this forum might feel horripilation by mare mention of stalking to be fair to the guys WOMEN STALK TOO think about it !!! stalking is an insidious crime that affects 1,006,970 women and 370,990 men annually in the U.S. similarly this insidious crime happens in other countries as well, stalking was defined as "a course of conduct directed at a specific person that involves repeated visual or physical proximity,

non-consensual communication, or verbal, written or implied threats or a combination thereof, that would cause a reasonable person to fear."




White males make up the majority of stalkers and rapists brothers do it less.........................................

why do stakers stalk ?

The stalkers goal is to: (a)regain the relationship after their partner had dumped them (b)regain control, and (c)to get revenge in some way.........

Some people bolster their self-esteem by dominating, intimidating, possessing, or manipulating partners. controlling or affecting a partner gives them some feelings of power or uniqueness in a world where they generally feel powerless or unimportant. This kind of person, after becoming an "ex", sometimes becomes a stalker to try to continue fulfilling these inappropriate psychological needs.


In cases of revenge stalking, the stalker believes they were "wronged" in some way and they cannot "grow up" and move on with their lives. LOL

I have my own stalking drama and it is some kind of phone stalking or harassment where the caller calls my mobile phone and doesn't say a word on the screen it reads "UNKNOWN" I got so frustrated because the person on the other end won't say a word. I keep a log of all the pertinent details regarding such calls. I think I have an idea who the woman behind this is but I can't prove it, finally I had enough of it and decided to contact my phone company initially they gave me the run around advicing me to do such things as not to answer the phone blah blah blah blah or change my number that is when I really got mad and start yelling at the rep and I demanded that I needed to speak with his supervisor. It was the supervisor who told me that subpoena is required and the police will throughly investigate the incident...... I felt sigh of relief

he keept follow me and went to touch me so i turn and hit him and run as fast as i could :mrgreen:

 

I've been stalked by a woman that I've dated before as well as by few ladies who are interested in me. It is not a pretty sight or experience.

 

This isn't on a killer stalker tip, but it was major harassment. Back in the day, this guy who I used to be friends with had a girlfriend who was one of my best friends at the time. He liked me and wanted to get with me. I denied his advances. I then started talking to his boy. That caused my friend to annoy me. He started crank calling my phone (like 7-30x a day). He keyed my car, he put my car up for sale in a local paper, he canceled my phone features, he wrote me a wannabe anonymous 6 page letter talking ish about me and some other stuff, but that didn't stop there. I wanted to get a restraining order, but couldn't cause I couldn't prove anything he did. I moved 2 years later and he knew another guy I knew and got my number and started harassing me at my new place. This went on for 3 years. It's sad cause I tried to tell my friend about what he was doing and she got mad at me and that was the end of my friendship with her. Another one of my best friends was also friends with them, I had to cut her off temporarily cause she was the gap to the negativity. Funny thing, his girlfriend FINALLY broke up with him and doesn't speak to him (he doesn't even know where she lives) and they share children together. I've been followed home a few times.

lippy has a neighbor that everyone calls the stalker...he parks in front of my house even though there is plenty of room in front of his girlfriends house...he paces back/forth in front of my house going to/from his car numerous times per day...if i go outside with my dog he comes outside...he watches me all the time...it's creepy...he is constantly trying to get my attention...he used to be able to get me all riled up and i would react to his crazy efforts...now i just avoid him...there was a time when i feared him and thought that he was just crazy enough to be violent...now i act like he doesn't exist...unfortunately this makes him act even stranger than normal...my dog hates him...

if lippy knew where GZ lived she would probably stalk him too...why do i get this feeling he is very stalkable:smt077

I had a stalker.. he did really weird stuff...
I used to come home and find snicker bars on my door handle..it sounds cute, but it really was very creepy.. He would stand by the fence around the pool and watch me at the apartment complex I ived in at the time, just stand there.....I clearly stopped using the pool.
He would call several times a day (and I never gave him my phone number) and not even being horribly mean to him would make the guy stop calling and stopping by.
I finally called the cops on him which of course didnt do much of anything but I think that scared him enough to stop bothering me.

 

I was stalked at my job once.

My office was in an area that had a public waiting area near it. This guy used to come in for hours sit in that area and stare at me. It was very unnerving and I asked my co-workers to confirm that he was acting weird. He never interacted directly with me. After a while of this I told my boss about him and that he needed to make him leave. My boss threatened him and then he didn't come after that any more.

I felt the whole thing a little weird because if it were normal I think he would have tried to meet me or talk. He seemed more interested in staring and keeping distance.

 

Yup, a couple of years ago. Very strange and scary time. It only properly lasted a month or something but I was scared to even leave my house.

 

God stalkers are getting smarter and smarter every day. Flying over, driving over the pound, msging on your blog as Anonymous. SMDH

yep had a guy who managed to get my phone number online ( didnt realise it was on there ) from this he managed to get hold of my home address. i would get phone calls late at night telling to look out my window and there would be a white car in the middle of the road. at first the guy would just speed off but then it got to the stage where he would get out the car and start waving and hanging around, i couldnt go out after dark as he would be out there, police wouldnt do a damn thing as he hadnt threatened me or done anything to me as such and i didnt know who he was to give them an adress to go speak to him

i ended up closing all my accounts on social networking sites ( set them up again on private settings with a pic of a squirrel ) i had to move house, change my phone numbers etc
