I just borrowed the audio book on this, and it is a fascinating story, I don't know if I agree with a lot of it, but it sure makes you think.

I don't think I've even heard of it. Could you perhaps give a little synopsis of the book? I'm just curious

Well, I posted it here, because it's sort of about the evil in the earth and the way God views it, but the book is in story form of a man who's daughter is murdered and how he deals with it, and he spends a whole weekend with God (all 3 persons of the God-head) in the cabin in Oregon, where his daughter was murdered, and God helps him work through the pain.

It's a work of fiction, and it portrays God as a large motherly Black woman, Jesus as a middle-eastern fix-it man, and the Holy Spirit as an Oriental woman. It's actually fascinating, and the portrayal of God is not meant to say he is a woman, but it's meant to say that God is neither male nor female and our stereotypes of Him are quite off.

I actually saw if for sale today at Wall Mart!

That seems like an interesting story

I heard of it but after I read your synopsis of it I'm not quite convince that I'm comfortable with it.

You know I thought it was weird at first, but it really has an amazing storyline and a lot of real truth in it, it breaks a lot of our traditional stereotypes about God.
