If you can't provide any proof...then how can you be sure??? You're really insulting the voters in Tenn by accusing them of not voting for Harold Ford Jr because of some dip-shit ad where a blonde says, "Harold...call me". He doesn't even know her. He did lose, but I believe that it had nothing with that bullshit ad.

What are y'all gonna do if he runs again next yr and wins??? And I think he will run again...and win.

That ad served the purpose for which it was intended. Harold may soon be finished with politics though.

So then let me put it this way, if all those black women that didn't vote for him because he dates white women voted for him instead then all of you are saying he would have won that race :?: :!:

I'm sure plenty of bm, ww and wm didn't vote for him because of that ad too. It portrayed Harold as a party boy which implies he's not very interested in his job.

The total number of blacks elected to the senate since Reconstruction = 3
(Obama is currently the only black in the senate)

    Barack Obama D-IL (2005-present)
    Carol Moseley-Braun D-IL (1993-1999)
    Edward W. Brook R-MA (1967-1979)

*The other two men, Hiram Revels and Bruce K. Blanche represented Mississippi during Reconstruction. "The South" hasn't elected a black senator since 1875.

The total number of black governors since Reconstruction = 1

Those numbers are no accident. You likely won't have many black senatorial/gubernatorial candidates in Montana or South Dakota...but to think that Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi (in modern times) etc. haven't had a black senator.....it has to make you think a little. Harold didn't have much of a chance....20 years from now...maybe 30...certainly in our lifetimes....it will be ok....but the last of "the old guard" hasn't died off just yet.

If this girl is considered "average", then maybe we really need to re-evaluate our standards a lil bit more.

Even though Harold's statewide aspirations are over, i'd take a fine broad like his anyday over any Governorship.

Not only his statewide but any national aspirations, too. If Obama gets elected for president there is a chance for a cabinet position.

    Yes she is fine.

Yeah, harold shouldnt expect to further his political career higher than where he is at right now.Politically, that was a bad move, especially in the stone-age south.I respect him though for not caring and doing whatever he wants though.
I think that the south will always be racist though no matter what.

    Honestly,

I have to say that in America with such tension over the ancestry of the person, the only truth that can come from this is that Harold is finished with his political career. I believe that it is okay that he is an analyst though. Also, who said that Emily is quite attractive. She isn't glitzy such as other known women in the media but she is beautiful and you don't find that everywhere. Besides, she has a cuteness that I don't see in women today.
