I believe there are a couple of members on here of Ethiopian descent to whom I would like to wish a Happy New Year!

Ethiopia uses the Julian calendar, which is divided into 12 months of 30 days each, and a 13th month of five or six days at the end of the year. The Ethiopian year commences on 11 September (Meskerem 1) and is eight years behind the Gregorian calendar from January to September and seven years behind betwenn 11 September and 8 January.

So, if you're feeling a little old and want to turn the clock back, move to Ethiopia and you will be 7 years younger as tomorrow brings 2003. :p
