    HAPPY HANNUKAH!

I always felt so left out when everyone else celebrated Xmas and still do. It also sucks cause our holiday seems to come earlier and earlier as the years go by.

Shalom, L'chaim and Mazel Tov to you..lol

Hope both of you don't live so far away in that big city.

    Who? L.A. and I?

  13. Well, I'm not Jewish, but I'm attending a Bat-Mitsvah this weekend, so...Happy Chanukah to the Jewish contingent here, and le chaim!!!

Actually, it's quite a wonder of an evening...I was doing some late shopping, and wondering what the hell the dress codes were, thinking I wouldn't find a Jewish person available to advise me after sundown. Guess what? Went into the department store, wanted some info, some kid called Omri, aged 22 from Israel, JUST happened to be the guy I asked !!

    Coincidence? I think not!! :)

I'll need to participate in Hanukkah one of these days.

Then perhaps you are Jewish (I have found that very often my family and I always seem to meet up with Jews sometimes in the most unlikely of situations). I do not believe in coincidences!!!

    Enjoy the bat mitzvah

  20. Oh I did, thoroughly!!!

I could never be a Jew because I could never stop being a Christian. My friend has remarked about how good a Jew I'd make, but I realise he cannot actively try to 'recruit' me, and I've seen the hoops through which newly-converted Jews are obliged to jump; I bow to no man, only God.

I just have an extraordinarily powerful liking for your people, your bonhomie amongst yourselves, you truly are like white Indians but with western accents...it doesn't hurt either that you have some blisteringly beautiful young womenfolk in your ranks!

When are you going to start that thread you mentioned last week about the differences between our faiths?
