Oh yes it has been 145 years since the Fathers of Confederation made Canada a nation merging Upper and Lower Canada.

I kicked things off this morning with a busride to downtown where all the fun stuff was taking place....music played all over and a lot of people were dancing on the streets, and others were covered in Red and White all over their bods!! O.O (they painted their bodies lol)

This afternoon, I went into the inner harbour, and watched some people do some ''magic tricks'', perform some songs, and tried some bubble tea...it tasted horrible.

Now, I'm chilling out at Elk Lake with a group of my friends to cool off from the heat out here! In the evening, there's going to be a fireworks show displayed right in the Inner Harbour so I'm sticking around for that.

Big day in our house, Canada day, we are flying the Canadian flag right now, and our wedding anniversary!

 

Happy Birthday Canada! This Louisville girl misses you, still loves you, and is proud to call herself a Canadian...
