http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/07/18/mandela.day.bikers/ Johannesburg, South Africa (CNN) -- As Nelson Mandela turns 93, one group of South Africans has been getting revved up in tribute to his legacy. A multiracial, multilingual group of South Africans have ridden their motorbikes across the country's highways and byways for the last week, doing good along the way. Over the past week the road warriors have been lending a hand at seven rural community projects in forgotten little towns along a 2,200 kilometer route. It's part of the Bikers for Mandela Day initiative -- their gift to Nelson Mandela for his birthday.
Happy birthday madiba . Strength to families everywhere who face poverty, fear suffering and helplessness at the hands of their own government, for purposes of power and privilege.
Madiba is peerless and i thank God he has lived 21 years after being freed after 27 years in jail. Bill Clinton once said at Mandela's worst , most of us will want it to be our very best or something to that effect . He is a great man.
