Gwyneth Paltrow Looking Stunning at Obama Fundraiser

Gwyneth Paltrow's father Bruce, was the executive producer of the show The White Shadow with Ken Howard. It was the first show to ever take on the subject of IR dating and featured a kiss between one of the black players and a white girl. Gwyneth had been around black culture at an early age. She hung around the set and got to know all the actors. As she got older, she got into hip-hop and is still a fan to this very day.

 

I didn't know that about her dad.
I catch old episodes now and then of The White Shadow and I can't get enough of that shit!! Like opening up time-capsules from the 1970s.

Well maybe she's not totally fronting.

 

The show is on dvd now. I was playing junior varsity basketball in the 7th grade and it was imperative that I watch The White Shadow. Ken Howard was last seen on the show Dynasty(as Dianne Caroll's new love interest and the Pastor who seeks out Sylvester Stallone in Rambo).
