I don't condone the usage of the word from no one espeically not non blacks but I do think it's a bit blew out of porportion. You can't say a word has a diffrent meaning then cry about it when it's used that way just b/c the skin color of people using it by it's so called new meaning. It just makes everyone look ignorant. If you find the use of the word offensive then you must first respect yourself before you can expect others to follow suit. It was bad taste for her to go there though. She should have known better. But I won't think of her no less for it.

Discernment is the correct word to use here but not with him but with Gwyneth Paltrow. The Right to usage is the main focus here and clearly someone did not have any right to usage of the N-word at all because they lacked discernment in not discerning that what they were doing could end up being something that would be seen as wrong.

Oh yes I am awake and proud of it because I don't work with the wrong kind of psychology it seems.

 

Certain things are not wrong but are not prudent that's why we are supposed to use common sense which is not taught in any institution. It is a title of a song but you damn well know that as a white person you will definitely get flak for using it whether you are innocent or not.
