I don't know, but based on your comment it would be highly hypocritical of you to ever complain about hate crimes or hate speech. After all, it is not illegal to hate, now is it?

As far as I'm concerned, the churches that supported Yes on Prop 8 were the ones guilty of hate. It's common for bigots like those who funded Yes on Prop 8 to spin the response to their hate as hate, but it's still spin.

I don't support saying churches should be burned to the ground. I don't acknowledge that this even happened, or was said by an actual liberal -- like raocha said, WorldNet is not credible.

But to be specific about my statement: You used it as an example that liberals were as hateful and violent as right wingers. Clearly the example of someone making violent statements is not the equivalent of an example of someone killing people. One is not the same as the other, so no, you did not proove your point there.

I'm confused as to why they couldn't trouble themselves to include links to what was allegedly written. To hyperlink a web page all you have to do is copy and paste your web browser's address bar. The only genuine source in that article was a link to some other right wing propaganda site.

Many of Sir Nose's arguments are disingenuous and meant more to stir up the liberals in this forum than engage in actual debate, hence the lack of links to those pages.

 

Okay guys, first of all, I will concede the fact that domestically, right-wing nut jobs have lately been more dangerous and criminal than left-wing nut jobs. You got me on that one. I lose, and victory goes to raocha, CBQ and karma.

Don't beat me up about the lack of hyperlinks though, you have to take into account the context here. Raocha made a point about the conservative blog site Free Republic. My responses highligted liberal blog sites with their own versions of kooks.

You can easily go to any of those sites I listed. Do you deny they exist?

Also, you have to take into account your own set of biases:

(Bigot = pro traditional marriage; Religious zealot = Evangelical Christian; Half-cocked loon = Supportive of 2d amendment.)

Finally, any of you can check my history here and you are well aware that my arguments are consistently valid, sincere and backed up with factual information. I challenge you to find one that is not.

There's no such thing as a "left-wing nut job." The lefties I know first of all, aren't all that lefty. They're Clinton-style moderates. The "loony left"--the people who Nixon ran against--went out of style in the '60s. But then the Right has always been out of date. If the left were indeed nutjobs they wouldn't always lose to the Right, megalomaniacs who pander to white people's worst instincts. There are no left-wing equivalents to Gingrich or Rove or Cheney or Limbaugh, because those men are EVIL. All we've got is James Carville and he's married to a Republican his damn self.
