Does anyone here play Guitar Hero? Those who do.. got any tips how to get from playing medium to hard? I play well on medium difficulty(hey I can finish"Through the fire and flames" with nearly 80%.Lol) but can only finish 3 songs on hard so far.No idea how to get used to it
I play Rockband but only at my friend's place. I'm still working on getting better so that I can move up to 'Hard'.
I've played Guitar Hero and Rockband at friends of mine's houses. It's been a while since I played though. But the games are pretty fun
I have a ROCK BAND addiction. I just played for the first time this summer. My friends would find me in the middle of the night in their basement rocking out alone once they had gone to bed. The drums are really hard.....for me anyways. I would give up and just start wailing away on my own LOL I want to buy my own now, but I fear I will never get any work done
When guitar hero 3 came out ages ago, I remember picking it up on release day (first game I can recall released on a Sunday....) Needless to say, I had to hit around 3 or 4 different stores to pick the thing up. The EB down the street was sold out, so I went to the mall and most of their stores were sold out, except ONE store, that had the guitar/game package. Sold! I have a regular guitar, but Guitar hero is just so much easier.. Plus I like jamming away at some of my favorite rock songs.
I never paid it much attention..until I visited a friend of mine in Philly.. she has it in her basement - their whole family (+2 kids) are addicted. Now, every time that Im in Philly, I go to her house and we play for hours. Its a lot of fun
I'm more addicted to Rockband, because with Rockband I can sing or play the drums, and with Guitar Hero, it's the guitar, and I'm really bad at it. And I must say, I am one mean singer when it comes to Rockband,
I found the transition from medium to hard a little difficult at first, but after a few days I got it through sheer willpower and repetition. When you get stuck on a song in hard, there are two things you can do. 1: Go to practice mode and slow down the parts that are really tough. Play them over and over and over. Eventually you'll subconsciously (or even consciously) remember the button combinations. It'll become easier after that. Try making it faster incrementally, as you get better at the tough parts, until you're playing at regular speed. Then you should be able to get through the songs. 2: When you get stuck on a song on hard, try playing it a few times on expert mode. It'll be scary, and you'll suck at it, but when you go back to hard level it'll seem so much easier. This is the method that helped me the most. That's how I got to playing expert mode rather well after just a few weeks. Now I'm worst at medium, because it's too slow so I fuck it up. Guitar Hero is my shit.
Thank you,DH. If I was up in ur area or u in mine we could battle one another.Lol That would be fun.So far I only played against guys.Lol
haha, we would so rock out together. Though, honestly, I prefer cooperative play to competitive cause it's just more fun that way. It's never even...either I'm waaay better than the person I'm playing against, or they're waaaay better than me. So co-op play is just more fun. But I could gladly crush you, if you wanted! mwahahahaha! ...just kidding. lol
Lead all the way! I only like playing bass when it's a real guitar, not a video game lol Plus I love impressing people with the solos. lol
we have rockband and guitar hero...we started out with just guitar hero and then when magic was visiting they had to share the guitar so within about a half hour we were driving to eb games and buying rockband...now at least 4 kids can play...2 guitars, 1 on the drums and 1 singing...so fun!:rock::smt034 no drums ??
Lol that's cool. I'd wanna see u play lead first and see how well u play.Hehe if I think I had a chance to beat u playing lead myself I'd try it out.Lol but still all for fun. I don't mind losing
