Golf Channel anchor Tilghman suspended over Tiger remarks

I don't think she was being racist when she said it, but that is kind of rough saying someone should be lynched...I mean I joked around with my friends saying I 'll fuck yo ass up, But I wouldn't say shoot you in the back of the head...the point is it was a rough thing to say, which is probably why tiger said he excepts her apology and not say she didn't have to apologize. Good man Tiger is though not gettin that riled up over a comment and brush his shoulders off, I believe him not saying it was racist because tiger has faced racism growing up I would think he knows what offends him racially what doesn't.

like I said before, i used the term "lynch" in the past, to refer to someone getting beat the fuk up by a bunch of guys, for doing something stoopid..

I didn't mean it in reference to racial occurences....

just have to be careful about what you say on television, because a LOT of people watch it, and some were probably offended by it...because lynching has happened for WWB (Walking While Black) before.

I still think of Dourdan as "Shazza Zulu"....when he was on 'A Different World' as Freddie's boyfriend. He hasn't aged in 15-20 years. You should really check out some of those episodes....he was hilarious...but also spoke some truth as the so-called consious brotha on the show. 8)

I hate her. Instigator. She was going through her own salary negotiations at the time and used the whole thing to big up her profile under the guise of standing up for T.R. Plus called for Washington's firing. Bitch.

Well, Kelly apologized again on the air at the beginning of the Golf Channel's broadcast of the tournament that Tiger is in (and as of now, leading it by 4 strokes).

As far as comment 2 posts ago, that is one ignorant and clueless person. The only thing racist about that post was his own attitude, not Sharpton's persona. I get how some people don't like Sharpton, since he is a bit of an attention grabber and at times say some of the most outrageous, but he is not a racist although he hangs around with those who are closeted racists. I don't agree with his feelings that Kelly should be fired, she deserves to have a second chance to redeem herself and have the right to clarify what she really meant to say, as opposed to what she already said on air. Unfortunately for her, she will be remembered just for the stuff she originally said, instead of being one of the first female golf anchors.

 

Actually, i kinda agree that the chick shouldn't be fired. Don't get me wrong, she said something so fucking stupid and deserved the suspension, but she's apologized over and over again so i guess we all good now.

 

When did she apologize many times? I did not hear of it in the Sports news.
