Okay I am a little late but Mal set you straight, don't fear for your safety that's crazy.

It is deathly cold, my friend from Kiev just came back from Egypt and says its DAAM COLD.

In late Winter it won't be much better, but your from Chi-Town dress warm you know how, its no colder here than it is there.

I just echo what DI has said and be safe but don't over do it.

wow, that's quite a story. now i see why it was so stressful for you. i'm glad that your best friend was with you there. i can't even begin to imagine what it would have been like if she wasn't there with you. i have a question. why couldn't you girls find anything to rent? did it have something to do with the landlord not wanting to lease out an apartment to you for only a few months?

jeeez, some russian guy only wanted to live with young girls? wow, that's so crazy. that sounds like something off of a CSI episode or something. :lol: sorry for laughing, i just find that to be so odd. i guess i've lived in a bubble for too long, and have never really encountered any real psychos/crazy/deranged people like that. i'm definitely glad you and your friend found another place to stay. that's just plain creepy. that's awesome that the man let you stay in his motel for free. see, i guess there are some good people left in the world amongst all the psychos out there lol.

it sounds like despite all that, you're really excited about coming back to the U.S. i'm glad u didn't let those terrible experiences deter you. :wink:

about this club.... what exactly happened there? was that the night when people got stomped to death or something like that? i'm glad u made it out of there okay. it seems like every other week i'm hearing about something crazy going down in some night club.

and yeah, i'm sure you'll devise some kind of plan to get your visa for next time. :wink:

we couldnt find anything coz: 1. nobody (i mean normal ppl lol) wanna lease apt for a few montns, 2. we had a job offer but it turned out that its fake! :lol: then 3. we spend quickly all the money and hadnt them enough )))))))))))

I m laughin on it as well! coz its so funny now!!! but it was not funny at all at that time! lol and when we ve been meeting some crazy russian men, we were always laughing badly! )))) once we just kept running from him coz he was really crazy! ))) but it was funny as hell! :lol:
and u know in the club I dont know what happened exactly. we were dancing and while about a few seconds the big crowd of fighting men came straight to us! we didnt even see them!!! my friend was out of it quickly, but I found myself in the middle of this crowd...I remember, I thought maybe I m gonna die! lol :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

 

yea, there is a stereotype about americans ))) that they are always smiling , no matter what happened in their life and no matter what they feel...)))) its not absolutely true, kinda )))))))))))

Yeah, being from Chi-town, i'm definitely no stranger to the cold. :lol:

 

okay, i knew that was the reason. i knew it had something to do with them not wanting to give you such a short lease. it's like that everywhere. apartments that have short leases are extremely rare. i live in a college town where there are nothing but apartments, but the landlords still won't give you a place unless you're planning to stay for longer than six months.

lol, okay...as long as we're both laughing on it, it's cool then. you definitely have some craaazy stories lol.

 

You know, that may be partially true. I guess it goes back to being a cultural thing. Even though i might be in a bad mood, i'll still nod and say hello to somebody, just to be polite. What i do is, look a person straight in the eye, and if they meet eyes with me, i'll say hello. But if they keep their head straight forward, or don't even look at me, i won't waste my time trying to be polite to them you know. A smile can really make a persons day, so i try to do it as much as i can. I know sometimes when i'm feeling like crap, and a person gives me a great big smile and a hello, it always makes my day go a little bit better for some reason.

And yeah, you've been a tremendous help to me so far. I've learned a lot from just talking to you. You're a really cool girl. Thanks a bunch. :wink:

I m doin' the same. if I see,my smile can make smb feel better, of course, I m gonna do it! and even if I dont feel good as well, I ll trying to do it, coz I know for sure that when U give ur warm-heartedness to the world, it s always coming back to u, multiplied many times! and that makes u feel better too! its like a life rule!

I dont think u know it...))) its pretty far from Moscow, but anyway, I visit Moscow everytime when I have some free time! coz I like chillin over there! so...I mean, it may be possible to hang out with ya man!

I'll be traveling there for spring break, and i'll be there for about 5-7 days most likely. it's not a business trip, just a vacation for me. i'll be with a few friends that live there in Moscow. they're going to be my guides, and show me a good time. it should be really fun. i have been talking to my best friend about actually traveling there with me though, and if he does decide to go, we might take a train to St. Petersburg and see all the tourist attractions there. it's my first time traveling aboad, and i don't want to try and overdo it by trying to see too many places at once though. if i ever go back, i'll definitely try and visit places besides Moscow.

I wish u to visit St.Petersburg. coz its a really special place! I can even say its magic...I mean, the energy over there is spiritual. its jard to eplain, u just gotta see and feel that. its up to u, anyway...

oh yeah, they're russians. :wink: You know, you're not the only person who has said that about St. Petersburg, and how special it is. That's making me really want to see it. oh really....you saw pics of my family?? i'm really close with my family, especially my 3 brothers. we're all really close in age, and are like best friends.
