Outstanding, very moving, well done on all accounts! The Washington Times is claiming that the movie is making false claims about GM paying back its government bailout, false to the tune of $25 billion. The Times is not telling the whole story, the facts are below.

The Obama administration -- through the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) -- committed approximately $52.4 billion to help right GM. Only a fraction of that, $6.7 billion, was in the form of loans. Most of the government's GM investment was converted to an ownership stake in the New GM, the company that emerged from bankruptcy: $2.1 billion in preferred stock; and 60.8 percent of the company's common equity. The jury is still out on how much return the government will get on that investment.

GM's CEO Ed Whitacre, could accurately claim that GM has retired its $6.7 billion in loans from the U.S. government. But the government still owns approximately 60 percent of GM that it is actively looking to sell off.

Race should be inconsequential in supporting the president of our nation.Besides, many would argue that one of the current problems in the Black community is the decaying family structure at the hand of interracial relationships primarily because of Black men. Lets be consistent and fair balanced.

Hmmmm. Interesting. When Black men date interracially it's the cause of the destruction of the family in the Black community, but when Black women date interracially it's what?

Statistically, Black men marry inter racially at twice the rate of Black women. Coupled with the fact that there are fewer available black men than black women to marry heightens the issue. So there you have it.

    interesting way to put it

not only are their fewer bm in general, there are also fewer compatible bm with degrees, jobs, etc. you commonly hear this argument and I can not say that i blame them. BW are going to college and graduating at greater rates than BM. While college does not always mean higher paying job, it does mean that you can expect a certain work ethic and intellectual capacity from someone that holds a degree. Sometimes people want to connect on that level...someone who shares similar traits.

bottom line is, educated brothas with a decent job (be honest...women want someone with a good job like them, since raising a family takes money) are in very high demand atm.:smt023

unfortunately WW know this as well, and they're pouncing on us

sistas need to step their game up and start competing

Considering that Obama himself is the product of an interracial relationship and went on to marry a Black woman and have two children with her and are viewed as a positive portrait of a Black family, your bringing up interracial relationships at all as a factor in the destruction of the Black family was done why?
