Glen Beck couldn’t give a rats ass how you folks feel about him………He rallied his folks in appreciable numbers and has proven he can be an effective revolutionary for his followers….If you wanted to make a difference, you should have been on the opposite end of the mall supporting Al Sharpton and the MLK speakers. This is going to fall on death ears. There appears to be something different brewing up on the right. And that is a new right wing approach to engender the masses through thought provoking dialogue. Sharpton and the other old dinosaurs of a past era was out maneuvered if i spelled that correctly. In terms of who won the public relations i give it to Beck. The dinosaurs of the old civil right organizations looked like a bunch of whining babies who should have been doing their own thing at the Lincoln Memorial for Dr. King for the past years. Where where they then? Beck, Hannity and others are making huge inroads in getting the majority of the people in this country to sway politics in November. Like you say brother all we get on the left is a bunch of whining. Sharpton should have had a crowd out there that was equal or beyond what Beck put on.

I keep asking myself, what is the "restoring honor" thing? What does it mean in Glenn Beck dog-whistle speak? What does it take to lose one's "honor"? The language of honor is from another time and means quite different things for a man or a woman. It's not that America has failed on the battlefield, or run from an enemy. America, the America Glenn Beck wants to save, is Lady Liberty, a fallen woman. For shame. It is not car company bailouts that have cost her her honor, no, we know, we all know... she gave herself, shamefully, willingly... to you know who.

I should call him liberationist salvationist". something like that of sorts but Beck still was pulling some slick shit.

This country could end up being led by a demigod who has millions of dumb asses who cannot get the truths themselves so they instead are waiting for marching orders. We may be appraching similar times, who knows. Could we have detention camps again like in World War II for the Japanese-Americans? Hurricane Katrina merely exposed the decades long problems that were festering underneath the covers. That region of the country has a long history of racial inequities. It was just exposed. It exist in some form or another everywhere. If a dependent class of people with no power will be at the mercy of those who do not give a rat's ass for them what do you expect what we saw there? Just wait until the next disaster comes whether it'd natural or man made as in a terrorist strike on this country. What gets me is that as a country we will tell the rest of the world how to live and to treattheir people and to be like US, yet we showed to the world how we treated our own like in Katrina for all the world to see. The way we deal with race is a fork tongue or poison tongue. Back on the subject, If this country goes into a Depression, I wonder how race relations will really be. Will there be finger pointing or will we try to work together to fix the problems of this country.
