im serious as a heart attack MANY people drive as a luxury, not as a necessity MANY people buy gas guzzlers instead of economy cars too i understand some people have to have cars because of where they live, but come on..do u really need that Durango or that Expedition you pomp bastard
hell yeah, because I have to look large despite if I can afford the car or not. It is all about image not about practicality. hell, since president carter each prez has been promising our energy indepedence and it will happen ...... we can count out nuclear thanks to three mile island and japan
lol nuclear energy has so much negative potential..there has to be a safer way like salt water or solar
yeah I saw something on 60 minutes where this dude invented some type of box that generated an enomrous amount of energy to heat buildings.
I have to take the bus everywhere because I don't have a car right now, but even that is expensive as hell. I'm fortunate to have a student card because of the course I'm doing, but to pay full fair to (a distance that takes) 15 minutes in the bus here costs $6.20. To get to my work at the vet clinic it costs $7.20. Buses are expensive too. Although admitedly not as expensive as a car. LOL But still...fuel prices push up the price of the bus fare. Ack...money is evil. EVIL!!!! :smt074 :smt005
lmao my first car purchase is going to be one for the books im damn near 30 and never had my own i think ill take a long cruise down i-95 and put some miles on that sumbitch, on the first weekend after i get it
Gas prices have risen again, it's about $3.65 - $3.75 in the area now. McCain's approach to fixing our country's energy problems is also wrong. I'm inclined to think that Obama's solutions are the more logical ones to pursue, such as the creation of more "Green" products and the development of cars that don't use gasoline. Software programs that are designed to lower energy usage on computers and other systems can also help as well.
