They asked for 998 million.

They received $332 million in November and then approx $752 million through the Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Relief Fund, plus the additional almost $7 million.

Literally, every reliable news source (and some not so reliable) verifies this meme. The money they asked for was in addition to anything else they'd gotten. Which, by all accounts, wasn't enough. Hence the request for more federal funds.

I'd feel bad for these people, if I had anu feelings left. But, I'm done feeling compassion for those who feel no compassion for people who don't look like, worship like or love like them.

They should've bought better insurance. They should've saved more money. Why should my tax dollies go towards making them whole again? The floods didn't effect me or mine. This is how they want America to be. So, let them feel what their america is like when you have nothing. It's all their fault, they should've planned better.

Wait, maybe they could all relocate and go live by the wall they voted for? There'll be plenty of government funds spent there. Excuse me while I go wash my chair in con-servative voters' tears.
