People continue to take sides in the Penn State scandal, either in support of the assaulted kids, or with the football program and it's coach. Franco Harris, NFL Hall of fame player, decided to publicly support Paterno and criticized his firing. As a result, Franco himself was fired from his P.R. job with a local PA. racetrack.

he deserved to get fired. Not so much for his position.....because he should have had the common sense to know some things you need to keep to yourself.

No exactly for his position. Child rape should be condemned on all fronts. Right from the piece of shit rapist to the pieces of shits who covered it up. More so the people who covered it up and allowed more kids to get rape.

I can only hope that through the criminal and civil process, that Paterno doesn't just sail into the sunset. Perhaps, those children can get a portion of the probable $5 - $6 million dollars a year he's been socking away.

Or his 550k a year pension. Seriously 500k per year for coaching college football off of the tax payers? Damn.
