http://thegrio.com/2013/08/01/fox-n...v-al-sharpton-is-evil-has-blood-on-his-hands/ On a recent episode of Hannity, Fox News’ Michelle Malkin told host Sean Hannity that she believed Rev. Al Sharpton “has blood on his hands,” has “ruined lives,” and is “evil.” Hannity asked Malkin if she thought Rev. Al Sharpton has united anyone or solved any problems through his activism. To which she responded: Al Sharpton has blood on his hands. He’s ruined lives. He’s been one of the worst purveyors of racial divisiveness and hate in my lifetime. How can you expect an ounce of honor from a man who doesn’t have it? Certainly he’s not going to go out of his way to try and defend yours or be a stand-up guy. I love you like a brother, Sean, and I was very dismayed when you made that decision and I know you made it out of good faith to attend the National Action Network, but this guy is a shakedown artist who hates cops, who hates whites, who hates Jews. Malkin went on criticize Sharpton’s positions on racial issues: And I think the lesson here is something that I have worked tirelessly to remind all conservatives. If you get in the snake pit, you will be bit and conservatives have been far too nice to these people in a good faith effort to try and have honest race relations. You can’t with someone who is a demagogue and who is evil.
Malkin is referring to the time when Al Sharpton got involved with a case involving a young black girl named Tawanna Brawley. Brawley's story about being abducted, smeared with dog feces and the n-word was written on her back and she was stuffed in a garbage bag. She claimed a white cop did it. Sharpton jumped on that opportunity so quick, it was staggering. He even got Bill Cosby involved(who put up a reward to find who did this). Brawley's mom hid in Sharpton's church and claimed sanctuary; meaning that the police cannot enter the church to get anyone out of it. This drama played for motnhs and everyone started to become suspicious of Brawley. It was discovered that she was lying to hide the fact that she was out late at a party from her family. Sharpton went after a white cop whom Brawley accused of the abduction. The white cop was not there and he never saw Brawley before. He was forced to resign. Sharpton got humiliated by another activist named Roy Innis on The Morton Downey, Jr Show. Roy Innis knocked Al Sharpton on his ass. Since then, Al Sharpton had tried to be present at any rally against the police. Sharpton pulled no punches and some rally officials did not need or want his leadership. Al Sharpton is now a host/contributor on the MSNBC show called PoliticsNation. This story will haunt him wherever he goes. And, of course, Fox News and Sean Hannity will bring it up.
Hannity can rehash anything to the point no one cares anymore. He thinks he is without fault and boy does he have faults. His support of Mr.Z is one of many faults this commentator has. No apology to Sean Hannity from Al Sharpton. As for Michelle Malkin, she hangs with those race hustlers like Hannity,O'Reilly, and others.
Al Sharpton has done so much more good by focusing media and public attention on some of the most egregious examples of racial bias and discrimination in this country, Malkin has no credibility on this issue. Talk about the whole of the man's life work, or don't mention him at all. Tawana Brawley lied and Sharpton believed her. So did a lot of people at the time. Sharpton isn't inventing these incidents so why are people blaming him for getting involved?? I remember when conservative media about 15 years ago decided they were going to take down Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, now most conservatives don't see them as Civil Rights leaders anymore. It all fits into the new narrative not to talk about racism on the Right because they refuse to believe it exists, except as a chronic delusion affecting angry Black folk.
What planet is she living on? I have some criticism of Sharpton's conduct during some of these crises, but there are no worse, more shameful race hustlers than the 'reverse racism', 'white grievance' hustlers on the right.
Malkin is a whack job. That being said... Did Al ever apologize to the Duke Lacrosse players as well? Whom he called racists, and essentially tried to ruin their lives?
You show your ass at every given opportunity. :smt009 Al Sharpton said he didn't have to apologize to the Duke lacrosse players because he never took an official position on the case. Read the Fox News transcript interview he did with Bill O'Reilly at the time of the allegations. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,192277,00.html All he ever really advocates is for the fair application of the justice system. When cops say that a suspect in custody raped himself with a broom handle, expect Sharpton to protest, as he should.
True AB. No one can take that away from Sharpton. He brings attention to the injustices of Blacks and other minorities. Conservatives only bych, moan, and do nothing. Plus they are in denial of raceim in them are endemic. Fox News and other conservative organs are part of the White grievance industry.
