I have found the regular posters here to be more than qualified to debate and discuss just about any topic, so intellect is present and well represented. But complaining about something that you yourself are guilty of, while at the same time doing nothing to change that, is useless and counterproductive. If you don't like it, change it. Hey hey. No need to take a cheap shot at me. I wasn't trying to "shine". He just doesn't read and makes a lot of threads that are similar in nature and sometimes they're outright ignorant. I agree, that he does make a lot of threads, but my point is - he doesn't read.

you are very coming in the middle of the convo and dont understand the rant. They were complaining about me making jokes here and about the light hearted threads I make. suchas who do find oddly sexy and ect... and they stated they are bove those threads. so I reminded them of what threads they like to participate in and others they never complain about.

so if they wanted to get into an intellectual convo we could ? so I brought up some topics and there we go.

now like I stated in the post I make threads for the fun and be light but if they want to get heavy we can ?

I dont have a coal up my ass thrying to make a diamond. I love when people make fun of me because I now its all in fun BUT when people try to come off as oh dude you need to evolve from this type of threads then I have to remind them of themselves.

Why worry about what anyone else wants? What does goodlove want to discuss? If you prefer lighthearted, so be it. If you'd like to see more 'intellectual' topics, post them. I think people should enjoy the forum for themselves, and not worry about playing by other people's rules, or kissing up to people. What I'm saying is don't just go along with it, if it doesn't suit you, make it what you works for you. I don't see how it could be an enjoyable experience any other way? I know for me personally, if I viewed this as a place where I had to suck up to other people all the time to achieve and maintain some pseudo-popular status, or felt I had to keep track of what everyone else was thinking to ensure I didn't offend anyone, I'd just leave. I have no interest in playing games, or muting my personality, or sucking up to anyone for any reason, or seeking popularity. All I'm saying is I think you should just be yourself goodlove. If that's what you're doing, and you're enjoying yourself, who cares what else is said or done?
