    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/11/111103161830.htm

The least (no high school diploma or GED) and the highest (college degree) educated women share the lowest rate of first divorce, with 14.4 and 14.2 per 1,000, respectively.

so the least educated women and most educated women have a relatively low rate of divorce. good to know.
    My guess:
What's the common denominator? Men. I think the educated woman is looking for an educated man with money to match her. The least educated woman is probably doing the same. I have no idea about the in between which may conflict with my guess.

Why do you think that two categories have such low divorce rates?
Why didn't they mention men since we are an important factor in keeping the marriages?:-(

Because these type of articles are always aimed at making women panic. I think it's quite clear what's going on, and it doesn't have a lot to do with the education of men.

Women at the very lower end of the educational & economic scale do not have the resources to forge out on their own, particularly if they have children.

Women who are at the higher end of the economic and educational scale have more to lose in a divorce - but they're also more likely to have married later, and thus perhaps done a better job of picking a mate, because they are more experienced and mature when they do so.

After looking deep into this article, I know why it was on women. LOL FUBU

I didn't want to say it like that about the low end of education women but it is true. I just couldn't sugar code it.
