:? Yeah I saw that too. Seems like the chemistry was there but things went sour pretty quick with them. I still don't think it's over between them yet either & I hope they work it out.
Nobledruali, I too have seen the show and believe NBC and the producers of "Heros" just wanted to scratch the surface with an interracial relationship that produce a child which is reflective of the REAL world. Now if this goes well in "Middle America" remains to be seen.
 True but I think it could work because they're doing it in a red hot series with many other characters so it's not just them. I think it'll work but we'll see...
I too found the show very interesting in the scripwriting and yes, the relationship in the show is just a reflection of how many IR children there are. I noticed that it most hoods, there's a few BM w/ WW as their children's moher. As far as them staying together is another story. I must say though, whenever it's IR, there's always a "conflict" in the relationship that causes them to never bond like the families in shows like "My Wife and Kids", "According to Jim", "Family Matters". Not those "wholesome" families like a Brady Bunch episode. When its WW and BM, there's always sometin causing a great deal of drama. Not saying the families have to be fake and unrealistic about it but it would be nice to see WW and BM in a relationship that is not so conflicted all the time.
 Yeah I guess they have to have some kind of conflict between them with everything else going on in Heroes. It's also good to see a bro having a good relationship with his kid for a change too but like I said, they may have them work it out after all.
I've been a fan of the show from day one and missed a few episodes, but caught the most recent one with Ali Larter and her black man in bed. From the beginning i knew the show would feature some kind of IR since she had a mixed son. But i wasnt sure if we'd ever meet the father. Well we did. Now IR couple are usually perceived as troubled since in real life, most IR couples are troubled (maybe because one or both families, do not approve, or just general issues with being in public and having people call you names, one or both partners being generally unhappy with their own culture, or whatever reasons why one or both is extremely, sad, argumentative, or difficult to deal with). I do agree though that I wish they did show an IR couple that got along great. I dont think this is your typical IR couple though. First of all both of them have super powers, which is kinda weird (must make for great sex though LOL), and the black guy has been in jail for quite some time and hasnt seen his son in a while. So he is NOT the ideal father. She also has a backstory of doing porn. So that feeds middle american audiences with the already rampant assumption that any white girl who shacks up with a black guy MUST be trashy, hence all the pornography she did. They didnt make her a sophisticated lawyer or something. Same with the blonde that banged that black guy on friday night lights. She was the school slut, bad girl. Not some prissy goody two shoes straight A student whose family we see on a regular basis. Usually IR in these types of shows consist of a cocky troublesome black male and slutty trashy white female looking for a fast buck (and a fast Fu*k, which of course the black dude is more than happy to give her). On friday night lights it was just a one night stand but on heroes they seem to really love each other. Although from the most recent episode, her evil twin is gonna cause her to do something really bad to the guy for that 2 million dollars. So i doubt we'll see anymore sweet morning bedroom scenes between those two. I did like that scene though because of the part where he played with her hair and talked about how much he liked it. Reminded me of when I did the same to girls I've been with. But...there's NO WAY an IR couple could be happy and normal on TV riiight? It's either doomed to fail...or some one time only, one night stand, experimental hook up. Thanks alot NBC.
 Correct on all that PBT. NBC is trying but they still have a long way to go with the BM/WW IR stuff but I have to give them some props for trying :!: On Heroes I forgot that Nikki was an internet HO' but maybe we can attribute all that to BAD NIKKI! And DL being in jail well seems like that's par for the course as usual but at least they're making it so that he probably was framed by a mobster or someone else. Like I said I feel there's some hope for them to work things out mainly because of their son. He might even bring them back 2gether. As far as FNL is concerned, I was so hoping that they'd keep the heat on with Tyra & Smash because eventhough he's got attitude and she's the hot girl looking to get out of town, she is FINE AS HELL with her juicy white girl lips :!: Maybe now that the city slicker messed over her she might start back kicking it with Smash...who knows :?:
I stumbled onto Heroes on Monday, never saw it before. I never realized that the blonde was Ali Larter. Wow, does time fly. She's pretty good on the show. I knew her from the stupid movie "Jay and Silent Bob", who also had two hotties in Shannon Elizabeth and Eliza Dushku. Eliza is smoking. BT
I must say though, I am looking forward to seeing the outcome of the relationship between the BM/WW couple on the show.
Yea, I know the couple won't be the focal point of the television show but I'm wondering if it will end horribly or be a happy-ever-after effect.
