Ms. Bliss you will never convince those with the blinders on who refuse to see the facts of a situation that is nothing more than self-extermination of a segment of society that is forever doomed to failure. Most do not care. The blame game is more appealing rather than dealing with the crux of the problem in black America and that is the criminality programming of some (not all) young black males. You wonder why our communities have become third world enclaves policed by militaristic police forces. This is but the beginning. The Hispanics are taking note. By the way that black woman who had her business burned down has received $100,000 in donations from across the country.

Good for her but I'm saddened to see that other businesses intend/intended to pull up stakes

As for third world enclaves, the police are simply going to areas where the bulk of the violence is

MANY people who live in the inner city have been complaining for years about the lack of police in their neighborhoods. Now that the police are actually showing up in numbers, some residents want them out. It's a catch 22 situation.

If I lived in a dangerous section of the city where people got killed nightly/multiple times a week, I'd want more police patrols too

Fuck the bullshit because the average badass community can't and won't police itself

Doesn't mean the cops you send there need to be ignorant, jackbooted thugs tho, because any bad area is likely to have non violent young brothas who ain't about dumbshit, and really are trying to better themselves

MOST blacks do NOT commit violent crimes even if a lot of violent crime is caused by blacks

People can't seen to understand that

Follow the money. I don't support crack dealers or thieves because I don't buy their products. Anyone that benefits from my money must answer to me or I stop being a customer because I am enabling them to function in their current capacity. I don't like Bush but he was on to something when he said we will not distinguish between people that commit terrorism and those that fund the terrorist. Clearly there is a shared responsibility. If people are using public funds to commit these crimes it's not only taxation without representation but its also fault of the public if they don't speakup. There is a difference between saving lives because you want to and saving lives out of responsibility. In reality we must prioritize in order to get the most accomplished as most of us have been doing in our lives since early adulthood. The people of Ferguson that are protesting peacefully are correct in taking care of their responsibilities first.

The reason people don't protest black on black crime because who would you protest to? Drug dealers and thugs aren't being funded with tax dollars and aren't expected to protect the people.
If the question is how do we stop the violence in the inner cities instead of the tired "how about you fix your neighborhoods before complaining about the cops trope" one look no further than the black male unemployment rate in these areas (4 times their white counterparts) and the illegal drug trade.
Fix the poverty and violent crimes drop by 50% instantly, but I know we won't address that because its far easier to question why these monkeys just won't behave.

Just who are we blaming for the police violence other than the people who are doing the killing? Facts of what situation? How about you read the damn thread title.

The only way to fix poverty in this country (for the most part) is to instill values and a good work ethic in people. There are jobs to be had if you're willing to work and work hard. There are more opportunities than ever to get an education or learn a trade. But selling drugs is a faster and easier way to make money. Stealing is a faster and easier way to to make money. Lazy people take the path of least resistance.

I was addressing the myth that criminals doing the killings were going to jail

    But

    Whatever

I wish it were that simple I really do but when you look at proximity and access to certain jobs. Yeah there are great oil jobs in South Dakota but how do you get their if you're struggling in Chicago? It's too simplistic to look at it as a lazy thing because millions are out of work and WANT to work but there's a skills gap that can't be remedied by online classes and it costs a lot of money to just look for work not to mention how biased employers are when they find out that you were out of work for a period of time. I agree there are great long term solutions but the challenge is the short term

The direction this thread took gave rudy giuliani chills down his spine and wood in his pants

If people posted in the threads that Paniro posts about insane murder rates in black areas...this thread wouldn't look like this at all

So does electrons, but we know how they both behave so they can't possibly be the source of every problem. Bottom line is people are motivated by self interest and if more people saw it as beneficial to work hard more would do so. The income gap between the rich and middle class is getting wider, wages have been stagnate for decades and more higher paying jobs have been replaced with service work. I don't like laziness but the problem is not so one dimensional.

And promoting that tired trope of lazy people need to work is in fact lazy. The problem is so much deeper. I wish that limitless pill existed. We need to crop dust that shit into the water and food. The IQ of the masses is far too low to get shit done.

    Well gotdamn

Well it's from a magazine that focuses on Chicago...so if they're claiming that the system is incompetent when it comes to catching criminals...no....MURDERERS... I'm inclined to give it some credit and be appalled

Ms. Bliss might not ever succeed in convincing the blind, ..but never will she stop trying. ......Bless the woman, ....her intentions are from the heart.....

But its not for a lack of trying it's not an all out dismissal of the crime and that's what makes it different.
