I saw it today. She had a good expirament going and all. Of course once again she just like everybody else hyped up BM hating on BW for IR dating more than BW do, but all and all everything was good. At least unlike OPRAH she kept it equal and let the brotha talk about his experience with hatred from those type of sistas and actually had one of them in the audience showing their hate. So I give her show a B-.
I missed it. Forgot it was on. By the way Noble. I've got a ?? for you. You wouldn't happen to be an officer of the "Race Squad" on another board would you? (For those unaware, the race squad is a small group of brothas who defend bm honor from attacks by racists and other misguided posters on a certain movie message board.)
8) Legend has it that The Race Squad is everywhere my friend. Might you be a fellow poster on another board of such that you mentioned :?:
8) Cool...check your PM when you get the chance & PM me back.  Damn...didn't know that the PM is not working so holla at this addy at reddnwood@msn.com.
Hey everyone, I just watched that episode of Tyra Banks on "interracial dating." All I have to say is ,"DAMN, people are simple as hell." I am now convinced more than ever that it takes truly special people to get involved in an interracial relationship, or to do anything against the norm or what is accepted. I will give you all a quick rundown of what happened for those of you who missed it........ They brought about 20 different types of people to a secret room right and told them to watch the 4 interracial couples that came in the room and give their first opinion of why they are together, then the couples left the room. The couples came back in the room The 4 interracial couples were: 1.WW and BM (of course) 2. WM and AW (white man, asian woman) 3. BM and LW (black man, latina woman) 4. WM and BW (white man, black woman) To make a long story short, a white guy in the group looks at the BM/WW couple and is like, "Take your hands off her, she is too pretty for you and you are so black." A black man in the group shoots straight for the WM/BW couple and says, "Why are you with him don't you remember slavery?" another man says about the AW/WM couple that the asian woman wanted him for money and stuff like that. A latin dude said that the BM/LW couple would not work out because they would have too many kids, like a party all the time. That is only a little bit of the show because they showed an asian woman who doesn't date asian men and an interracial gay couple......Let's just say that a lot of hurtful stuff was said about all the interracial couples. It is of no surprise though, this is America after all.........
Forgot it was on, so I only caught the second half of the show. What I saw of it was pretty interesting...
 I saw it and it amazes me how the old stereotypes about all the races still persist even with the younger generation. Some things don't change I guess.
It's just as well, after all, she might've been too pretty for him too, since he's so white, but then again, he probably doesn't like women at all, judging by the remark he made about them. He must be old as shit, because as far as I know, many people in this day and age can't even recall slavery from their own experiences. For all we know, she could be born and bred to a rich family. I wonder how much he may be mooching off of her, other than what's underneath her clothes. Good, then noone will have to worry about a shortage of mixed black/Latin kids, let alone any of the kids getting molested by a Latino father. No doubt... Yes, I agree. He did save us a lot of time and trouble watching it.
 The show wasn't really that bad but like I said and just like the black guy that SG mentioned, it was mostly younger people that STILL had the same old tired racial stereotypes as older folks do! And I do mean everybody when it cut all the way across the board :!:
Do you think its possible they picked the panel with people who would make it controversial...because if they did this test and then it was oh yeah IR is so cool...then there would be no point in talking about that because controversy gets ratings....I love Tyra but maybe this is intentionally portraying IR in a poor light?
